Arby's — Restaurant in Pekin

Went to this Arby's about 11 am today... Got a Big Roast Beef and Curly Fry same thing I always get from every Arby's in this area and when Traveling and it was absolutely disgusting... It was dry hard and crispy as you will see in pic and it had dry nasty crusty sauce on the inside top of box. It didn't have sauce on sandwich it was like they pulled the sandwich container out of the trash... When we called to complain the lady said she would replace it but it was going to be the exact same way bc that's how they cook it... I call absolute BS on that bc I eat Arby's 4 to 6 times a week and always get the same sandwich... I have NEVER got a sandwich that looks like this one... Maybe it's time for the manager to be replaced or retrained... It is going to be a minute before I return to Arby's bc the look and thought of this sandwich was DISGUSTING... My neighbor's dog wouldn't even eat it and he eats anything... Tried feeding it to him and it's still on...

Ordered thru DoorDash, not happy overall. Fries were cold, French dip was cool n cheese was a little rubbery, did not receive the chocolate shake I'd ordered for grandbaby, chicken strips were warm but stringy and we received a chocolate cookie that wasn't ordered. For the $34 it all cost - with delivery fee of $3.99 (not the $2.99 advertised) and tip for DoorDash AND the 20% coupon could not be put in as there was no place to do so - it was likely to most ill-spent money in a long while. I did call Arby's and whoever I talked to did put my name down for a free meal plus a chocolate shake, but that did not fix the mess. We couldn't get past a few bites of most of it before I gave up trying to choke it down and made something else for the grandbaby to eat. I very rarely leave reviews, positive or negative, but this place earned one. I've eaten food from here maybe half a dozen times in the past few months since i moved to the area and the food has always been on point. The crinkle fries super fresh and perfect, sandwiches out together well and never soggy.

I can't comment on the atmosphere too much, as I don't eat in restaurants much these days, but they seem like a pretty good team who are friendly to each other and to customers. Keep...
