China King — Restaurant in Pekin

What can I say about China King; It is hands down the best Chinese/asian food around! China King fed me threw my 20s, my 30s and now into my 40‘s. For years! (always) the consistency hasn’t changed, always top notch. It’s the comfort food that we can not make ourselves that makes it feel like such an extra bit of fun to order. For us; it always a dimly lit living room with a good movie feel with delicious food to nibble on as we enjoy. It’s an experience for us that is always perfect.

I also need to mention the loving voice that always answers the phone, ❤️ if someone else ever answers that phone I will be so thrown off!! So nice! So friendly! It’s a family feel when ordering. This is only the 2nd time I've ordered from this establishment & it will be my last. The first time my food as I ordered hot & spicy it came very bland & the egg rolls were nasty & very small but this time my food was cold, again it was not hot & spicy, I remembered not to order egg rolls for myself but ordered the crab racoon which by the way were pretty good although again cold. My cousin ordered a chicken chop suey with water chestnuts & bamboo shoots only after the meal arrived it was cold, had no bamboo shoots & a few water chestnuts upon calling the establishment the lady was rude, yelled, & basically said she told the delivery man to be careful why I don't know who she thought I was but I will not be disrespected or frequent that...

Have never had any problems here. Place and people are great. The food has always been spectacular. Coconut shrimp? Yeah have to say oh its so beyond good. Great isn't a good enough word it's really really good there. Update 5/30/2017 Still great love the place love the people. And.... OH MY GOODNESS MAMA HAVING ANOTHER BABY! CONGRATULATIONS!
