They were so friendly and great treats and food! We went in for milkshakes and left with milkshakes and dinner! The tres leches ice cream as a shake was my favorite but there are SO many options! They make their food themselves and we got potato enchiladas with grilled veggies and my husband got a side of chorizo. It was cooked perfectly and super tasty! They are the sweetest family and make you feel right at home! We will definitely be going back!!

My family and I enjoyed our visit. Good overall vibe, clean, helpful staff, cute interior. My kids got the waffle cones with chocolate and monster flavor. I got the ceviche and cucumber and lime agua fresca. My husband tried the strawberry shortcake ice cream. Everything was delicious! A must-visit spot if you’re in town.

La Monarca is mine and my husband’s favorite place to go get ice cream in town BY FAR! The owners are so lovely. The customer service we receive every time we go in is always excellent. And of course, the food itself is delicious. My personal favorite is the Ferrero Rocher ice cream and I get it in their house made waffle cone. My husband gets a Cookies N Cream Milkshake as his go to. They have so many different flavors or options to choose from. Additionally, they serve other snack and menu items as well. First, the employees or owners were very nice people!

Second, the ice cream was pretty good. It is made in house. It's not traditional tasting ice cream. It has a lighter flavor...more like whipped topping with a light ice cream consistency... if that makes sense.

Not sure if I would double back for ice cream, but great to try!

They do serve food and the menu looks appealing. May try that next time if...
