Gabby & Summer Classics — Local services in Pelham

We recently purchased some Newport Collection pieces for our beach house and had the pleasure of working with Cynthia Duke. We had seen print ads for Summer Classics but had never really known much about the product. Fortunately Cynthia was working the day we visited the showroom. She was very knowledgeable about the different collections, and quickly gained our trust. She has a very positive attitude and it is apparent she loves what she does and is very invested in her customer relationships. We spent almost two hours with her and never expended her patience. After listening to us and showing us many collections, we decided on the Newport Collection. While expensive, Cynthia showed us the quality of design and construction of the Summer Classics products; and we proceeded to order a sofa, two chairs, two ottomans, two side tables, a coffee table, and multiple pillows and bolsters. Several weeks later we called Cynthia for another Summer Classic solution. We needed two window bench cushions and she solved the problem immediately, ordering two custom dimension cushions with a Sunbrella fabric unique to Summer Classics! Cynthia is a “rock star” and I have recommended her to friends. She is a great asset to Summer Classics and we look forward to working with her in the future for further outdoor furniture needs. Thanks to Summer Classics & especially Cynthia Duke, we now feel like we live at a resort! We looked at several different brands before we decided to go with Summer Classics for our outdoor spaces. The other brands were a bit less expensive, but when we learned about the quality & the way that Summer Classics stands behind their name, the decision was so easy.

Cynthia is a wealth of knowledge & so much fun to be around! She assured me that certain pieces would in fact fit perfectly in our spaces & she was exactly right! When we had a couple of hiccups, she went above & beyond to make sure the problems were solved & that we were happy. She always tells me with a smile that she loves her job & it shows! I feel like I went in looking for outdoor furniture & came out with a new friend!

My husband went to pick up a tv console cabinet today I ordered back in December. They were nice to hold the piece of furniture for me until we got back in town. However, they failed to tell me when my husband picked up the furniture that he had to load it himself. It was 265 pounds without the crate. Somehow, he managed but he said it slipped. I have no idea if it’s damaged or not. There was another customer waiting to load who also did not know there was no help. When I called yesterday to give them a days notice we were picking the piece up, this would have been a great time to share this important information with me.

I have bought a lot of furniture from Summer classics and have always had help at the loading dock. I had no idea they operate as two separate companies. A bit disappointed with customer service.
