Amazing Thai Japanese — Restaurant in Pembroke Pines

Amazing Thai is just what its name proclaims - it's amazing thai food! Whenever I'm in the mood for thai, me and my husband go here, and we've been going here ever since I was little, which being 21 was years ago, and their food has been just good back then as it is now. Their ginger salad is amazingly simple yet amazingly.....amazing! Very delicious and satisfying salad...I'm not sure if they give it automatically as your "free bread or chips" like at a restaurant like Chili's or Friday's or whatnot like I'm almost positive they did all when I was younger and growing up since I make sure that we order it every single time we've gone before we order our main meals.

Besides the delicious ginger salad, I haven't had their entire menu or even half their menu, but from my experience their fried rice is not only so fresh tasting and fluffy, it is just so, so good! From the experience of my husband, their Wonton and Miso soup and their Yaki Udon is great! From the experience of my family members, the red curry is fantastic. And from all of us, the thai donuts are fantabulous! One day soon, we hope to try the sushi; I believe that a coworker of one of my family members purchased a sushi boat for a party of some sort and said that all the sushi was very well made and the boat was not only fun to look at and was a conversation piece, but great for all the guests they were feeding and all the sushi they had to have!

The employees are also generally nice. Helpful..caring.. and pretty prompt! They also handled my to-go orders nicely and I got my to-go food fresh and hot.

I only have two downfalls about this place that I really love, even with my downfalls I will still give this place 5 stars cause they deserve it regardless, but the only problems here are that: It is a little bit outdated and old looking inside, and looks the same as I remember it did when I was young so no change to their decor or furniture or wallpaper or probably even the floors. They are a little bit pricey but honestly, the food is in my personal opinion worth it....but it would be nice if the prices were knocked down a little bit...then we'd come a lot more often! But we can't come very often because of their technically high prices. (i don't know what others feel about their prices but that's how I feel about them) HOWever, they DO as in another review pointed out give you large portions for the money. I always have a ton of leftovers that I bring home whenever we go to this thai place and it's always great to have leftovers to have for lunch the next day ♡

All in all, they just have really good food and even though it's a little old looking inside and a little bit on the pricier sides, it's a sweet, smaller Thai food joint that we (me, hubby and family) like and have gone several times and will go many more times for their great food and nice service as well, so Amazing Thai - - definitely a keeper and go-to for a simple "don't wanna cook dinner tonight" run, a munchies run, an "i'm in the mood for thai food today!" run or a simple lunch or dinner date, this is a good place to go to for any of those things listed above and more. Make sure to try the place yourself, and I'm sorry I've typed so much....I tend to do that on my enthusiasm for things on Google, lol.

Let me start by saying that I have been a loyal customer to this restaurant for many years. My experience today was horrible. There seems to be no manager working and the manager they have at the moment the girl tried to tell me doesn't speak English. I ordered food for pick up today and my boyfriend went to pick it up. He waited there for a while to pay. The girl gives him my food and then walks off to take care of someone else. He waited there and the girl tells him Everything is in there. ( basically telling him to leave) he calls me on his way home and asks me if I paid over the phone. I told him no and he heads back to the restaurant. Whatever new girl they have working there calls me super rude and tells me that someone came to pick up my order and just LEFT without paying. I told her he thought I paid and she just hangs up the phone on me. I don't appreciate that at all. First you rush him out the door and then you call me to say he took the food without paying and then as I was on the phone with her my boyfriend walked in the door to pay so you hang up on me. Naturally once I heard the whole story from him I was upset and called to speak to the manager. The girl on the phone leaves me on hold for a while and comes back and says the manager isn't there. I asked to speak to the person in charge and she said we have another manager but he doesn't speak English. She proceeds to tell me the manger will be out of town for a month and if I want to tell the manager something I could tell her to tell him. I was getting nowhere with her so I just hung up. I can't believe after all these years with ZERO problems with this restaurant I was treated this way. I don't appreciate it and since the manager won't be back for a month I guess I won't be ordering from here. Whoever you have working your phone system doesn't know how to treat your...

This place used to be good at one time. The new management sucks! My wife ordered a take out order on a Thursday night for Fried rice and Pad Thai with no Fish sauce (due to allergies). She confirmed if they can make with no Fish sauce before ordering. When we came home, we found the food still had the Fish sauce. So we called back and asked if they can re-make and we would return the prior food(as we live close by). The waiter (Andrea) said the kitchen was closed and would give a credit for a future order. I called back on Sunday (the same weekend) to see if we could go back and if they can make the order without Fish sauce and if they would credit for the order. This time I spoke with Christina. She advised that they can do that. So I told her that we would come in for dinner. When we went there, they said they could never make any orders without Fish sauce and they even denied to refund / credit back.This was so embarrassing that they made us go back to the restaurant and turned us down. We have dined here so many times (probably in hundreds since we lived close) where we made a special meal request (without fish sauce) and they served us. I called back and spoke with the supervisor (Mike) and he said that they can only credit when the same waiter was working (Andrea).Their management is a mess. They can be upfront and straightforward. They would soon be out of business if they continued treating guests so unfair.

The food is average for the price you pay.
