Cali Coffee — Restaurant in Pembroke Pines

First time trying this place and I will return so my review is not bias and I can further understand the concept and reciepes Cali Coffee has to offer. Being that Starbucks is 1.2 miles away, which is 7 minutes away from my home and Publix is my home why not. I decided to drink a medium size frozen calypso soda. The first cashier was very professional and educated me on the options available you can have 3 types of bases soda, tea, or there house made energy drink. The second cashier at the window was nice as well. I would recommend however not to have your hands on the body of the straw especially playing with it so close to your face, the same straw ima use to drink, since I was sick which was why I completely caught that, not a germaphobe, but just keep in mind. Perhaps hold the straw with a napkin would be more appreciated. I was already sick so a lil germs wouldnt kill me lol. On the upside she did offer to exchange my drink if it wasn't what I liked and was nice to add a little note on the cup. Calypso Soda Ice Medium: refreshing, I can taste the sweet tones at the end, the ice overpowered the drink l, perhaps next time i should of chosen regular ice. It was very light, refreshing as if drinking a sparkling water with a hint of flavor. Over all experience of today: it was nice, the people where pleasant and the drink was refreshing. I'm glad that pembroke pines gets to taste and have a glimpse of this type of service. Congratulations Calicoffee on your opening.

Since it was founded in 2018, Cali Coffee has expanded across Broward county with this Pembroke Pines location being it's third coffee shop. Five more are slated for opening by the end of 2023.

The menu offers iced, hot, or frozen coffee as well as fruity concoctions and shakes in a small, medium, or large sized cup. For the coffee, the milk base can be substituted for a non-dairy alternative for a small additional charge.

We got the Snickerdoodle Breve as-is and the Maverick with macadamia nut milk. Both were delicious and addictively sweet rather than overly sweet. If you bring your little four-legged friend, then you can even get them a Pup Cup which is a small serving of whipped cream for them to enjoy!

The customer service should also be noted with each team member constantly having a smile on their face when serving you or helping you with their menu. A walk-up window or drive thru are your two options for getting your drinks. The drive thru line often gets very long but an employee will usually walk up to your car to take your order through a hand-held device which cuts down on the overall wait.

Cali Coffee is one of my favorite stops, mainly because of how incredibly friendly and welcoming the staff is. Every visit feels personal—they greet you with genuine smiles, chat warmly while taking your order, and never seem rushed even when the line is long. It’s clear they really care about giving great service, and that makes such a difference.

The drive-thru is super convenient and moves quickly thanks to their efficiency and good communication. Plus, they never mess up an order—even with customizations. And while the staff is the real highlight, the coffee itself is solid too. Their espresso is smooth and flavorful, making every drink taste great.
