This review is based on an experience I had after I left the hospital nearby. It was about 1:00 in the morning and I wasn't expecting anything great, but my experience was truly excellent. I am in a wheelchair and my leg was hurting so it was hard to get up the ramp outside. A waitress saw me struggling outside and she called someone else to help her. Both of the employees help me all the way to my table and that put a smile on my face. I needed to work on something, I ordered a coffee and started. The waitress I believe saw this and came to my table to refill my coffee whenever I was getting low without bothering me to try and raise the bill or anything like that at all. She was very respectful and when I was looking around and put my work down from a moment she was right there to ask me if I needed anything. I did, I was hungry and needed food. I was looking through the menu and told her I was tired of reading because that's all I had been doing practically for the last 2 hours, and I asked her please recommend something for me. So she did and told me these burritos they had were great. She was totally correct they were excellent, they came out hot and fresh. I ate while she filled up my coffee at every turn then clean my table and I continued to work till 4:00 in the morning. She also packed up what I didn't eat without me even having to ask her, plus kept it out of the way so it didn't bother the space I had on the table. I was sitting at a two person table so there wasn't much extra space after the work and coffee I had on the table. I am a bilateral amputee, and it is hard to reach my backpack that hangs on the back of my wheelchair but she was there and asked me if I needed help without making any rude comments that some Waiters make but turn it into a joke. She was truly there at every turn. So when I finished I paid my bill and was on my way. This was a great experience and I've had one every time I've ever went to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy recent experience at IHOP was nothing short of disappointing. I visited with my kids for a late dinner this past Saturday around 11 pm, and it was evident that the place was quite busy. I sympathize with the fact that there was only one waitress handling all the tables at that hour. I requested a kid's menu for my kid, who happens to be autistic and enjoys drawing while waiting for her meal. Surprisingly, the waitress initially claimed they had no kid's menus. After some persistence on my part, she stated she needed to retrieve them from upstairs. Oddly enough, then several parties arrived after us, and they were promptly served while we were left waiting. To make matters worse, another waitress started her shift and began serving everyone who had arrived after us. Astonishingly, we still had no food on our table despite waiting for a staggering two hours. Frustrated and hungry, I ultimately made the decision to leave with my kids. The most baffling part of this ordeal was when the staff informed me that our order had been delayed due to a $160 order that had come in. It's perplexing that a single large order would take precedence over other diners who had been waiting for an extended period. Overall, my experience at IHOP that night was marred by a severe lack of service, long wait times, and seemingly arbitrary priorities in fulfilling orders. This visit left me thoroughly disappointed, and I'm hesitant to return to IHOP...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreQuite literally thieves.
I went there last Monday and the service was horrible. Every time we go to IHOP the coffee pot is left at the table, not this time. We went with an infant, they always bring the infant seat, not this team.
We ordered appetizers, they took longer than the food itself. On top of that, they replaced onion rings with fries, and the honey mustard sauce was just mustard (not the freaking same at all). When we complained about it they said they just didn't have them, say something then! Don't just try and force feed me something I didn't order. Needless to say, we didn't leave a tip. One of us didn't even get to eat breakfast but instead only watched while the rest ate because IHOP messed up the order and by the time it came out everyone was done with their food.
A day later we checked our bank statement and they added a $20 tip after we literally did not only add $0 as tip in the receipt, but literally wrote it on the receipt and the total was written there without a tip. Literal thieves! We have tried calling the location and I'm not saying they are deliberately hanging up after seeing our number, but we can hear the phone being picked up and then the call ends. Moreover, the customer service online is useless. Thankfully, my bank is not so useless so a charge back...
