I ordered from their own website to have a $50 order delivered for some items to have breakfast with the family. When they delivered I noticed that the loaf of cuban bread was missing, so I called the bakery right away to let them know about it. The girl that I talked to over the phone acknowledged that indeed, the delivery guy had forgotten the loaf of bread on top of the counter. She suggested that I go pick it up myself (missing the entire point of paying for delivery if you have to go back to the store to pick things up yourself) because they couldn't get a hold of the delivery driver again. She then put me on hold to get the manager on the line because she didn't know how to refund the money back to my account. She said I should call the delivery company uber or doordash, I explained to her (again) that I had ordered from their own Cao bakery website but that was beyond her to understand, so she called the manager instead. The manager apologized ( which basically serves nothing, but anyways) and said she would take care of the refund. She said she couldn't do it on the spot but she would do it later. That was a week ago and I still haven't received the refund. Look, it's $2 for a loaf of bread, the refund of $2 is not the point, it's the lack of proper care for customers, if you're treating new customers on a newly opened local like this, you really do not care about your business enough. That's how you...

Read moreThis place is a total let down. Let me start by saying that I have frequented their Miami locations and this location does the name an injustice. Walked in this morning to grab a quick colada and pastelito and there was about 4 people infront of me. No biggie - if you were at another location but the staff here OMG - one lady ringing up customers and making cafecito. There is another lady there that is just walking around half dead, clearly doesnât speak any Spanish and was having a hard time understanding what the things she was selling were even called. Que pena. We waited no lie for 15 minutes and we still had the same 4 people infront of us. We decided to leave and just cross over to La Carreta ventanita - they were fast efficient like you would expect for a quick breakfast bite. Spare yourselves until they hire more people or take a ride to Coral Way...
