This restaurant never disappoints. When in the mood for authentic Cuban food in our neck of the woods, Las Vegas is always at the top of our list. We started with a large plate of mariquitas with garlic aioli as well as complimentary bread. The atmosphere was pleasant with music playing. I love to look around and see customers having a great time and hearing laughter! Mami got the grilled chicken with white rice, black beans and tostones. My sis got the chicken “vaca frita” and I got the original one with lots of grilled onions. Gotta say that although we ordered typical homemade Cuban food, everything was made just right with all of the right seasoning. The black beans were the best anywhere! So much so, that we took a container of it and of their red beans to freeze for meal-prep for the workweek! Our time together ended by sharing a homemade tres leches with a cafecito. It was an all-around wonderful visit!

I have been to other Las Vegas restaurants and loved them. This one did not meet expectations. The service was super super slow. The drink order was taken quickly, got our drinks, ordered our food and waited over 30 minutes. Nothing we ordered should have taken that long. We got our food and it wasn't that great. We had the vaca frita, rabo encendido, chuletas, tostones and a tamal. The vaca frita was not crispy, it was just stewed meat. The yellow rice was hard. The tostones were just a big greasy undercooked plantain. The tamal had no flavor. The rabo was the only thing that was decent. We waited for our table to be cleared and than waited another 20 minutes to get the check. They couldn't figure out how to split it. We may go again but I would rather just go to another one that I know will be great.

Excellent dining experience! We walked in on a thurdsay evening and it was busy but we were seated right away. Immediate attention from the waiter with drink orders and appetizers. We ordered the mariquitas ($5) which the kids loved along with their complimentary bread for the table. We ordered our food and some coffee which came out very quickly. Great for hungry little kids. We ordered bistec empanizado and masas de cerdo. Both were delicious. Manager came by to ask how we were doing and the waiter was also very present and attentive to us. Drinks always filled and empty plates taken immediately. I didn't feel like making dinner or cleaning up so we went out and it was just what I needed. To be taken care of and the family. Thank you Las Vegas staff for a great evening!

I have visited this location several, several times even had a special dinner for my Father-In-Law here recently and it turned out great...

This past Monday 02/12/2024 @ 5:30PM, it was absolutely the worst experience all around.

Firstly; maybe the fact that the restaurant only had two other tables occupied. Maybe the fact that the waitress and waiter were ALL too busy on their cellphones to seat us when we entered the restaurant (6 minutes to even acknowledge us). Maybe the fact that when the waiter took the order he failed to give us napkins, silverware or even return REAL update on how long food preparation would take. I even had to wait for simple things like ''ketchup'' since as the waiter put it, '' They only offer it if the customer asks for it.'' I guess it would help if he ever came back to the table...

After 15 minutes; the waiter finally came to say, "Right Now'' in spanish... I asked - what does that mean... maybe food was finally going to come and be served or is it going to be longer.

After 10 more minutes, the waiter said that the fact that the preparation was taking so long was the rice & shrimp my wife had ordered was ''a bit more challenging'' and required extra time. The food was being served right away.

I stated that we were going to be late for a prior engagement and now after 45 minutes waiting since we were seated this had to improve...

The waiter was moving to the next table and I do not know if he even bothered to hear me. By now a new couple had been seated across the dining area from us.

Finally after 7 more minutes waiting; the food finally arrived only to notice that the bread that was used on the sandwich I ordered appeared very ''Old'' & the pork used inside the sandwich ''Smelled'' pungent. I took a bite and it was ''HORRIBLE''. The Pork meat was ''rancid and completely salty'' with the onions being hard and slimy...

I noticed the waiter was still across the dining area at the other table where the other couple was and asked the other waitress if she could please get his attention... After she tried and failed, I just frustrated walked over and politely excused myself to the other couple at the table and told the waiter, "I'm sorry but I can not wait any longer to get the food right... the pork sandwich is absolutely ''HORRIBLE'' and I had to leave... this news seemed to be un derstood byu the waiter since after being there since 5:30PM & now 6:30PM...

My wife and I left in disgust and wondered what the heck happened to the FOOD & Hospitality at...

My wife and I stop by last Friday the 23 of June 2023 to have early supper. We have been customers since the ingnaguration day of the restaurant. We sat at a booth which had not been cleaned, the floor under the table was greasy and slippery. We asked our waiter if we could move to a table and he said any table in the room would be okay. I Odered lechón asado, tostones and I choose frijoles colorados. When my order came to the table I noticed the lechón was over cooked and dried, the small container with the frijoles colorados was just liquid with 5 beans in the liquid. We called our waiter and showed him my order he brought me another order of beans, this time instead of beans it was red liquid with chunks of fat and some chorizo, but no beans. At that point I said to my wife I can't eat this food. I had held my discontent with the writer's attitude and the lousy food they served us. I got up and walked out of the restaurant. My wife stayed and asked if Míriam (owner's daughter) was there. She came over and my wife tried to explain what was our dislikes with our food. Míriam got upset and told my wife in an angry voice don't you know that food is very expensive!! Of course we know food is very expensive. That's the reason why we expected the quality of food they were famous for. My wife asked Míriam how much we owed her she abruptly picked up the plates and she refused to accept for us to pay for the food they served us, but we were not going to consume. We have known Míriam for a long time and we have been loyal customers. We will never visit this restaurant ever again nor will our family and friends. Míriam, your quality of your food is not like it used to be. Your waiter needs additional training on how to treat your customers. Your Restaurant has changed it us not the same any longer. We will pass the word to our family...
