The restaurant itself is the best part. The food is very expensive for what you receive! My spouse and I ordered margaritas(frozen and on the rocks) and they were not good. We were struggling to finish them, so we didn’t waste them. We asked for water with lemon for our main drink and we received warm water with no ice or lemon. The salsa was okay, but chips were old and very broken. We had to track our server down to ask for more. Our food was just okay, but very small portions for what we paid. My spouse and I are not heavy eaters and we were shocked by the portion size we received for what we paid. My spouse was right bc the food was old. We were up all night very ill. Our server we had was horrible. They were not busy, so no excuse for the poor service. We finally just paid and left when one of the workers decided to sweep the floor where we were eating. Visited this restaurant recently and was fairly satisfied with the overall experience. The service was great. The interior is warm and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and efficient. We were greeted and seated promptly, and the food was served quickly. The food is my only complaint. While it was hot, the item I had was full of onions and peppers and very little chicken. The vegetables had a lot of moisture and caused the flour shells to be soggy. I feel like they should have been cooked longer, and there should have been more meat. The rice was dry, and the medium-sized plate was half full of shredded lettuce and a few pieces of diced tomatoes. The lettuce came across as simply a way to fill the plate. Was seated quickly, however it took about five minutes for someone to ask if we wanted a drink, and then when they came back with the drink, they brought chips with almost a third of a cup of salsa? Waiter got annoyed when we asked for more salsa with our food which food which arrived barely warm. The portions were super tiny. Less than a table spoon and a half of beans smeared across the plate. Same with the rice. Waiter never came back. Spent most of the meal with an empty glass. This used to be decent place to eat, but now it seems like the new management is cheap, needs to make as much money as possible, and are just not interested in customer satisfaction.
