The waitress was rude to my wife, 3 kids, and I. She left out my wife’s order ( combination 6) and the told us my wife didn’t order rather than apologizing. She brought out one quesadilla and beans for my son and did not bring my daughter’s out. We gave my son’s quesadilla to my daughter while my son was watching his tablet. She dropped it on the floor. This was reported to waitress and she couldn’t wait to ring in another one. It’s not a requirement to comp this quesadilla, but would have shown consideration for customer. The restaurant charges 5.70 for 2 quesadillas and beans are another 3.00. Keep in mind, they are now charging nearly 3.00 for tea. After the third time waitress rolled her eyes and demonstrated rotten attitude, I asked to speak to the manager. She informed us she was the manager. She agreed to take off the 3.00 plate of mushrooms and then go cook my wife’s meal. While talking with her and another employee, she spoke her peace in Spanish and stated she was under great pressure and my table had too many needs. I attempted to explain we are the customer and we are paying you to provide a pleasant experience. This restaurant fails in every way possible. And the mushrooms were still like they were out of a can and heated rather than put on the grill. Thanks...
Read moreWaitress was very rude from the start!!! Apparently you are not supposed to tell her if you don't want to sit at a certain table. It was literally one table over. The whole place was empty. The place was not busy so there was no excuse! Some of the hamburger meat was raw in the center. Even after we pointed this out to our unhelpful waitress, she spent the next 5 minutes explaining why my daughter should eat it anyway. Sorry NOT our thing to eat raw meat. She was obviously was not going to take it back. She repeatedly brought us Sprite although no one at the table ordered Sprite. We ran out of our tea and she said she was really busy and didn't have time to fill them. Literally that is what she said. Some people like to have something to drink when they eat. The Big kicker of the whole ordeal was when we went to pay. They refused to take anything off the bill (you know, like the raw meat dish or the Sprite we didn't order). Her English was dang near perfect. So I am perplexed why she was so rude to us. Not busy, not a language issue. NOT EVER GOING BACK!!!. We felt insulted and ripped off. There are plenty of Mexican style restaurants around and no need to be traumatize again by this...

Of the four of us, we ordered one order of Camarones Diablo, that would be Devil's Shrimp, think very spicy, and one order of Camarones Diablo medium Mild. The mid 30's women waitress was excellent.
However, when the waiter brought the food, we pointed out both plates were just grilled shrimp, and that the order was Camarónes Diablo. The waiter said "we have lots of hot sauces on the sauce tray, help yourself. You won't notice the difference."
Right. If we wanted Shrimp boring, we could have ordered it that way. To be told to go to the sauce tray, and we wouldn't know the difference... WTHeck? Frankly, this may have had the most boring Mexican type food in the SC Upstate, and we eat at Mexican Resturants almost weekly, from Abbeville, Belton, Honea Path, Anderson... I can only think of one place worse than Vaqueros. I paid for the meal, but I won't be back. The 30 year old women waitress was excellent, but she never came back to check the order after it was served by Mr I don't...
