Full disclosure; I ordered through door dash, which gave them an unusable address by not including the zip-code.
After waiting 40 minutes on what should have been a 20 minute wait time, I called the store and after the 3rd time calling finally got through to someone. They said they'd tried to call me (supposedly) and then they corrected it and got my food to me in about 15 minutes.
I just find it hard to believe they tried to call me because when my driver arrived he called me just fine no error.
Awesome, stuff happens, no complaint so far.
My sandwich had avocado, but no bacon on it. Both of which I had paid extra for. I can now no longer get through to the store after trying for another 3 attempts, and at this point I'm tired of jumping through hoops for something that should have been right the first time.
Highly unlikely to return in the coming months. May try again in 3+ months time to see if things have changed as I've always liked Jimmy John's in the past.
If I do I'll update my review...
Read moreVery disappointed with the expierence i just had at this location. I ordered online for delivery. Recieved the email that my order was confirmed. I "tracked it" and it just kept saying order recieved. After almost an hour, i called the store and the guy tells me "oh we tried to contact you i dont have any delivery drivers at the store but i issued you a refund and a $5 credit." I never recieved a call from anyone. Or even an email for that matter. The charge is also still showing on my bank app. So lets see if the "refund" ever comes through. And i also didnt recieve any credit email or text notification of any kind. Seriously upset right now. I guess im just going to have to start ordering from davis...
Read moreJJ used to be a twice-a-week place for us but the local franchise owner(s) took away the combo option and savings (small as it was), then started charging for water glasses. First warning sings of an impending downward spiral.
They offer a "free" water cup but it is so flimsy it crumpled when I picked it up to drink. Corporate says that's all up to the franchise owners to decide those things so Jimmy John's has lost our business for good.
Charging paying customers for a water glass is ridiculous. Save a few pennies on a paper cup = lose $$ in food sales. Cheapskate franchise owners in Pensacola should watch "Give 'Em the Pickle" and learn some sense when it comes to how to...
