Read moreI arranged to host an event for Indivisible NWFL with a manager who was not working the day of the event. We are a progressive movement that believes in holding all people in power to account, regardless of party affiliation. This event was a letter writing campaign for Democratic candidates in the special elections. The staff working decided their personal political ideology eclipsed providing good service. We only saw 1 of the 2 servers we were told would work the event. I had to find her to give 4 out of the 10 drink orders. I was never asked for my drink order. Drinks were NEVER refilled. After placing the initial order upon arrival, I was never asked if we wanted anything else. Less than halfway through the event, the manager on duty asked how long we would be there. They asked to close out the ticket saying they were switching from day to night shift at the halfway point of our event. There was ZERO service the last hour. I cleared the plates. I had tipped an additional $15 over the autograt of 20%. Another in our party also tipped them asking they provide good service. The food is good. When I had scheduled, they were kind enough not to charge for the event space. We had every intention of this being a location for our meetings. We have had 36 new members join in just the past 2 days. I will never support or recommend this or any of...
Read moreAfter hearing good things and reading the reviews I expected better, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The cheese board was nice, the server was sweet, and the atmosphere was fine, but our food was a different story. We went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't that busy. We got out our cheeseboard very quickly, and no sooner had we started to eat, the server said our entrees were ready and asked if we wanted them now, or hold them under the lights. We were a bit take aback, and told her to go ahead and bring them. Pasta doesn't hold well. My husband and I both ordered the carbonara and it never should have left the kitchen. It looked like the cheese had seized up and there was no creamy sauce, just paste. My adult son ordered the shrimp pappardelle and said it had no flavor and needed, at least, some salt. I tasted it and he was exactly right. I was in no mood to complain. It was my birthday and we were all in good spirits and we didn't want to ruin that mood. I don't know, sometimes restaurants have a bad day, but seriously, if they knew how to make carbonara correctly they would never had allowed it to...
