UPDATE: Per manager's request, we visited this same location July 13 during lunch time. Ironically we had the same server (Osman L) as before. He remembered us & we had a very nice chat. We ordered the same meal as the week before. I must say, it was over the top with deliciousness!! Husband's Burrito Grande was made to perfection!! And my Fajitas, OMGosh, very awesome - cooked to perfection!! Thank you Javier for asking us to return. Kudos to the kitchen manager and staff, everything was perfect!! and our server was delightfully friendly and kept check on us throughout our visit! We will surely be back on again!!

(July 6) Ordered Fajitas with Corn Wraps. The wraps were horrible. Fell apart before I could begin stuffing them to pick up. Steak seemed to have a lot of fat, making it difficult to separate. Onions and bell peppers dis not appear caramelized enough The husband ordered a Burrito Grande and got a Burrito Fajita instead. The one Margarita was okay. Have eaten there many times over the past years. First time ever disappointed 😞 service was excellent, and the atmosphere was spot on... maybe just a bad day to order Fajitas and Burritos... NOT the...

This past weekend my family and I made reservations for a party of 13. We were leaving and all decided to use the restroom. I was waiting in the LADIES restroom waiting for my family because I am a FEMALE and one of the male servers and a woman server entered the restroom. I kept asking the woman why the male was trying to get into the bathroom. Both ignored me. The manger was called and I asked why a male would be allowed to come into the female restroom when he could clearly see that people were using the restroom. I am a lesbian and I feel as if it was an issue for me to be using the woman’s bathroom. I was not told the real reason why he was in the restroom. It was because he clearly thought I was a male and I was not. I feel as if this situation was very inappropriate and not handled correctly. The workers continued to just speak Spanish while I was asking questions. I will never eat here again and I will let all my friends and family know that they are very homophobic. I had family members that were very young children in the restroom. Unacceptable and I can’t believe that the manager had nothing to say. Do...

A 20$ plate of aztec fajitas burned, never even brought the flour tortillas for it(it didnt get eaten because the whole dish had the burned flavor).... Rotten lettuce on other dishes... Hair in a drink (want to talk about sick it was noticed after the beverage was drank) order came out and 3 meals were not given parts of other meals forgotten. Burnt as black as charcoal fry was in with the chips. As far as guacamole a large is bigger anywhere else ive ever been for 8-9$ looks big but it's not at all. Service was great until our order was put in, then the waiter never came back. No drink refills. This was a party of 11, first time going and the last time going... AC in the back half doesnt work and it is hot in there.

Management claims its busy, ok yeah i get it that its busy, theres always busy and slow days in the restaurant business (ive worked in the business too) regardless of that fact there is NO EXCUSE... This is and has been experienced before im sure and it will happen again.

Cleanliness and food prep above all is important it does not matter if...

The food is excellent. The service is excellent. The waitress we had was so kind and friendly. I forgot to ask what her name was, but she did a fantastic job of all the drink and food orders. She made sure the drinks were refilled and the food was tasting great. I had the fajitas texanas. The price is reasonable. It only costs $13.99 for shrimp, steak and chicken fajitas. You also get guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, refried beans, corn tortillas. You also get along with the meat, you get grilled onions, red, green peppers. All the meat and vegetables are grilled. All kinds of different drinks. We had 10 people in our party and we didn't have to wait to be seated. The atmosphere is really calm and layed back. You can have fun being with your friends and family and laugh and talk and just eat. It's a home like atmosphere. You don't think of the waitresses and waiters as people that work there. You think of them as family and friends too.

We were craving Mexican food and a family member recommended this place for us to try. I wasn’t impressed with my food but the chips and salsa and margarita were good. Once sat they served us chips and salsa, the chips tasted freshly made and the salsa was mild but tasty. I ordered the frozen mango margarita and it was delicious! So sweet and strong. I easily got a brain freeze because it was so tasty. They even gave us to-go cups which was cool. For my entree I ordered the pork carnitas and I was disappointed in the flavor of the pork. Also the corn tortillas were not good, I couldn’t finish it. The sides were all tasty, beans and rice were wonderful. I barely touched my food only eating my sides. My family all loved their food, I just chose something I’ve never tired before and wouldn’t try again. I’d come back for another margarita though.

I visit Rio Bravo quite a bit but I have never reviewed them. I really enjoy the food, it's full of flavor and you get quite a bit for the price. A friend of mine recommended the ribeye steak and I decided to try it. It's not something I would typically order at a Mexican restaurant but I love asada so I figured why not. I decided on the charro beans and Spanish rice as my sides. The steak was seasoned perfectly, I ordered it medium rare. The outer appearance was not what I expected, but I ate every bite! The rice and beans were delicious, I'm soo glad I ordered them. All in all my meal was really tasty, I would order it again! The chips and salsa were good as always and I got the 2 for margarita deal, one rocks and one frozen Mango, the frozen was definitely the best one! Yum!
