Iām new to the area and was very excited to try this place after seeing it online. I first went yesterday. I ordered a trio, with an Oliviaās old south sandwich, a Kickin Kay Lynne Scoop, grape salad and then a slice of the red velvet cake. When I picked up my order they silently handed it to me, I realized there was only one box, which meant the cake wasnāt in there. No big deal, except when I asked about it, the employee let me know they were actually out. They then offered the white chocolate cake, which I accepted. But when I got in my car and realized when I opened everything up that my Kickin Kay scoop was also missing..I went back and they fixed everything but at this point I was tired and discouraged from the effort I had to put in to get my order fixed. The food was absolutely delicious and I wanted to go back today and give them a second chance⦠I placed my online order for another trio, a Fancy Nancy sandwich, Kickin Kay scoop, grape salad and I requested extra crackers. Upon entering the drive thru, there was a sign letting customers know they were out of crackers. I realized I may need to swing by a store for some crackersā¦no big deal. I got to the window and they let me know they were actually out of the Fancy Nancy and if there was anything else I wanted. I confirmed they were out of crackers, and changed my sandwich to the Olivia old south and asked if I could change my scoop to Mac n cheese since they were out of crackers. They obliged no problem. I left again feeling discouraged that I didnāt get what I originally wanted. I got home, excited to eat my sandwichā¦only to find out it was not the Olivia old south, it was I believe the cranberry kelliā¦.so now unfortunately itās going in the trash because I live 30 minutes away and have no more energy into fixing the employees lack of care/mistakes.
The employees are nice and I get it weāre human and we make mistakes, but it made my first two experiences very disheartening. I think the main problem is that the online ordering system should have an option for your employees to mark it as out of stock. But the secondary problem is the employees attention to detail and problem solving skills. The food was really good the first time and I hope something changes. Maybe the third time will be the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo it might have just been the sandwich I ordered or the time of day I arrived, But let me describe the events that transpired that fateful afternoon. There I was 3pm , not a cloud in the sky and you knew it, the heat of the sun with Floridaās intense humidity created the perfect environment for a refreshing beverage, what better than a cold crisp Diet Coke? Not much I know. So I thought to my self ,ā Max you should try that new chicken salad place youāve herd so much aboutā I do, yes thatās right I do, and I as I walk through those black framed open glass door, I am immediately hit with a delicious smelling aroma, the room is filled with a sweet but almost savory smell, next before I even look at the counter I hear HI WELCOME TO CHICKEN SALAD CHICK š£. I turn my head ever so fast as I gaze into the eyes of a star employee, then I look upwards as the menu was larger than Bidenās future. Mildly confused I order something that looks a bit more Normal as the other options were far from a āTraditionalā chicken salad. I ordered a sassy something , and that entails cheese bacon ranch and chicken salad on a croissant with a cookie and a drink, I have many words yet 1 to describe the sandwich. HALF HALF HALF , Why you might ask? Because HALF is as much as I could eat, I was truly disappointed At least. The cookie was fantastic though. I would like to give this establishment another try one day , but for now sadly wallmart premade chicken salad sandwiches will remain supreme above the one I endured. Thankyou for taking the time to read this. Please go and try for yourself though. Everyone has a different experience and can not judge based off of one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me start by saying that I absolutely love the food from this place. Iāve had it previously in Mobile, AL so I was extremely excited when then showed up here in Pensacola. This was my second visit there in the 4 day span of being opened and I am less than enthused by the service I recieved. I ordered my food as normal with a couple of my items being scoops which comes with crackers because thatās half the fun of chicken salad right? Well I get to the window and pay, it takes a while for the cashier to bring my food (which is expected as they were busy) but when she brought it out she simple handed it to me and said nothing else and walked away leaving me to wonder was I waiting for something else. So I checked my order (kid scoop being on top) while I waited for her to come back and there were no crackers. So when she finally comes back, she asked was there anything else I needed (I didnāt even know I was cleared to leave as I said earlier) I asked do crackers not come with kid scope and she proceeds to tell me they ran out of crackers. Now I can understand how that would happen because they have been VERY busy since they opened on Wednesday but the fact that I wasnāt told when I ordered or when I received my food is totally unfair. Now Iām headed to the nearest grocery store to complete a meal that Iāve paid for. I donāt appreciate it and frankly itās unacceptable.
**upadate, just that quick the general manager called me back and assured me she will make it right. Iāve proceeded to give this restaurant the level of...
