Cinnabon Swirl — Restaurant in Peoria

Lots of opinions here. First I’ll say! Cinnabon… LOVE IT!! Carvels ice cream.. LOVE IT!!! So when I first heard about Cinnabon Swirl, I HAD TO COME CHECK IT OUT! It was a 40+ minute drive for me as there is only 1 in Arizona right now at the time I’m writing this review. I wanted to try a bonini SOO BAD! I loved the thought of making a Cinnabon ice cream sandwich!! They make it in a hot panini press and serve it to you right then and there! At first glance it looks amazing!! They got boninis, Cinnabon sundaes, soft serve cone or waffle cone ice cream! Its amazing!! It’s soo good that they ended up running into some problems…. But it’s not the staffs fault… I’ll explain..

People aren’t coming here to just buy themselves 1 bonini, or 1 ice cream! People are placing BIG ORDERS. And the staff can only keep up with as manny Cinnabons as their oven can make. When I got there… they told me they were out of boninis… I thought they were made to order.. they are… but they run out of ice cream and Cinnabons to make the boninis.. they told me I had to wait 10 minutes. but I was able to pay of them and once they were able to make them they brought them over for me to eat. Thank you so much! Now they melt quick… which sucks… the first and only bite really was incredible… but after that it was pretty much just melted ice cream on a Cinnabon. It’s hard to eat with your hands.. flavor was there. I can see the planning into it… eating it and, and trying to eat it as a sandwich.. no.. grab a fork. 9/10. Still delicious.

Then I grabbed some ice cream sandwiches to go and eat at home. And some pints! It’s carvels!! Come on!!! . The staff is extremely overwhelmed right now. This place is new. And people are just coming in drove. They cannot keep with the demand of the customers. If you get there at the right time, you might be able to get everything you want right then and there. If you get there at the wrong time, there will be a line and then they will tell you that there is a 10 minute wait For you to get something because they just simply ran out of material to make your order. They are working in the back whipping up everything they need to get those orders up and running again. One lady tried to get a Cinnabon Sundae and she was told that they won’t be able to serve those again until the evening. I assume they have to make the soft serve ice cream and then it has to chill for a while. I don’t know. I’m not back there making the stuff.

Once they make enough to keep everybody happy, higher enough staff to keep everything moving. Maybe buy more ovens haha the demand for this place is crazy.

If that’s the only reason I didn’t give this place five stars, then maybe you can use this review to make your decision to go and try them out. I would be happy to give this place five stars once they really have everything dialed in and get into a...

I want to give them 4 stars so badly because I Love Cinnabons! They are just so warm gooey sweet delicious. However, this new location has got to learn how to use their oven! Every single Cinnabon I have ordered from there I end up eating the 2 most outter layers and the rest of the inside is so gooey it's doughy and not cooked! I love soft almost underbaked cookies etc so trust me when I say I am not picky about this. They are so doughy I can literally pull the Dough like play dough and it doesn't break off like bread that's fully cooked. The Cinnabon at arrowhead mall makes them perfect! But unfortunately this new lake pleasant location has led to many thrown out after eating half. And that's such a disappointing situation. The ice cream, however, is delicious and they have some fun takes on mixing soft serve with the Cinnabon. Just a side note I even tried the minibon to see if those cooked through and they were not either :( . Also the staff isn't rude but they aren't super nice either. They just seem to wanna get you in and out and move on. I love Cinnabon and I'd love the manager to make sure they are all able to fully cook the rolls, and then I can update to...

You just pick a spot wherever to order like people were ordering at the register and then people were ordering over the glass. The kids working had no organizational skills for taking the order. We got two original cinnnabon rolls and two center rolls. Asked for extra icing for the center rolls because they didn’t put any on them willing to pay for the extra icing but was told they had no icing while there was 3 big bowls directly behind them full of icing. Decided wasn’t worth arguing with a bunch of kids went outside to eat and everything was cold like had been sitting in a fridge cold. Went back in to ask for a refund or them to warm it up and was informed that since we walked out the door to sit outside in their court yard area they could not do either for us. I will not be returning until they get some sort of adult...
