One star is how this trip went. Iâm an avid Target lover. I canât explain the excitement I get when I walk into the nice clean stores and come across the amazingly courteous and friendly employees. Today, there was an issue with a promotional gift card I earned two weeks ago. It didnât scan. The cashier at self checkout was very helpful with what he could and encouraged me to go check out the issue at customer service. When I went to customer service there was a long line and a manager came to help out. This manager was the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever met in retail. He not only implied that the reason the gift card didnât scan was because Iâd already used it but our conversation took less than one minute because he was clearly unwilling to help sort out the issue. I knew it was pointless and went home to grab the receipt and quickly returned back to the store. The employee at customer service saw what I saw and thatâs the fact that my receipt had two gift cards scanned to it, yet the one I was given was scanned with zero dollars on it. She knew it was an easy fix but had to call the manager to do it. It was Greg, the manager from earlier. He kept me there for about 20 minutes typing in his computer verbally stating that I was given both gift cards. Accusing me of coming in and trying to steal a 35 dollar gift card. When he left to âgo review the tapes to see what I was handedâ two employees came up and apologized for how he was treating me. I need to leave a review, not about how horrible Target is (because everyone and everything else was wonderful) but about how the closing manager, Greg, treats his loyal customers like thieves. Iâm extremely...
Read morei visited today with my daughter around 11am and I was behind a lady and her grandson. She was being so rude to the lady ringing her up. She acted like she was in the 40âs and wouldnât hand her the money and wouldnt say anything so the lady asked her if she wanted to pay with it and she snarked at her. She asked was there something wrong with the money and the lady said usually people say ok or hand it to her. Obviously she canât grab it because then she would complain then too. She was trying to get the change and she called her ignorant and she said thatâs your job. The lady said we need to know when you want to pay and she again tells her thatâs her job. My daughter said she isnât a servant and the lady agreed and said it too. The customer became more rude and the lady called over her manager who just treated the lady working like she was wrong. He told her to get air like she was upset and she wasnât. That manager is ALWAYS rude to us but to be mean to the lady was shocked. After I paid I told her to not let them get to her and she should not be pushed off by him. We are not going to go back anymore is this how you treat them that work for you. We always come to her line because she sweet and warm kind. He couldâve asked and we wouldâve told him. He doesnât like her and said sorry like we were upset. He...
Read moreRudest employees on the planet. This is the 2nd time I've been to this location where I've encountered some of the rudest people ever (employees). Not sure what is going on there because usually Targets are not this terrible but the team should be ashamed of themselves. I know it's hard to hire people these days but I think they could do a lot better than this. Today some weird kid pushing a giant red thing around was plowing around right behind me like he was going to run me over. Even though I shouldn't have to, I moved off to the side as soon as I found an open space from the crowd. I smiled just to be nice expecting he would at least pull it together and be more self aware of his inappropriate behavior. Instead he looked at me rudely and then put his head down & went on his way trying to mow down others. Last time I went there a lady running the self checkout was extremely disrespectful and even yelled at the top of her lungs directly in my ear (yelling at a different customer). Again just completely not self aware. I've not been impressed by any other staff there (at that Target) either. I'm never going back this time. Walked out empty handed and going to Albertsons even though it's more expensive, at least employees are normal and...
