Twisted Sugar — Restaurant in Peoria

Tried this awesome sweet deal of a place on opening day and it was a HUGE success. They ran out sugar cookies a few times during the day but kept them coming from the oven! All hands were on deck and the cookies were HEAVENLY. We tried the oatmeal chocolate chip, regular chocolate chip, peanut butter, crinkle, cookies n cream and the banana cream. They were all amazing. I personally prefer oatmeal chocolate chip but the banana cream tasted just like a banana cream pie. We also tried one of the sodas and in talking to the owner found that their concentration of syrup to other ingredients exceeds expectations (definitely higher ratio than most)not to mention the cold water lines and filters just go to make the soda experience soooooda-licious!! North Peoria had a new sweetheart in town and the name is Twisted Sugar..GO GET SOME!!

My daughter and I were referred by Sharkey’s kids cut to come get a small free sample cookie for my kiddo after receiving her haircut. We walked in and immediately were excited by all the flavors. I allowed my daughter to pick out a cookie for us to buy with the our free sample. Cookies were phenomenal. However, the cashier behind the counter couldn’t have been more annoyed or rude to my daughter and I. My daughter was so excited (she’s 6) with all the different flavor cookies and not just once BUT twice I watched this employee roll her eyes at my daughter when she was trying to pick out what cookie she wanted to try. While the cookies were absolutely delicious, this employees crappy attitude towards my daughter ruined my experience. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be stopping in again after...

The staff was not very happy or friendly. My young son ordered a drink he’s never tried before and he didn’t like it at all… they just said to our face there was nothing they’d do and let him throw the drink away. Super sad and very unaccommodating to make customers happy. Considering the drink was $7 and came in no other size, it would have been nice if they at least offered us a new flavor.

Edit to add to owner response; I wasn’t looking for anything for free or a sample. The drink we ordered tasted like Pepto-Bismol instead of nerds. We were trying to ask about the 20 flavors you mentioned but got no feed back from your unfriendly staff.
