Not happy with this experience!! She waited 10 minutes to put in our order. Had to ask for my milkshake to be brought out the way it was supposed to be made (extra in the metal cup, a spoon, didn't even bother about asking for the cherry I really wanted). Asked if the appetizer had 3 pieces of chicken since we had a party of 3... she said yes!... nope!. Had to ask for our appetizer as an appetizer a few times, she had to ask the cook to make our appetizer and hold our foodđ. She didn't remember the ranch/blue cheese. She didn't change the original fries to seasoned. I ordered the create slam (4 things) I asked if I could have oatmeal (knowing it said not past 2pm) she said it was okay, it was just hot water!!... nope! Asked for over medium eggs, came back over hard (cook fixed and brought out (thank you, he was great)) also got pancakes and seasoned fries... she charged ne extra for them??! Told her I wouldn't pay extra for them as I was choosing them as part of the slam. Cook came out apologizing I couldn't have oatmeal. So the whole experience was irritating and uncomfortable and the manager there (who really is nice and all) isn't managing anything! But the way, there was 3 tables, one (new) cook, one manager, and the two waitresses (one just coming on shift) (ours was apparently on her third day) . We live down the street... it's not our first time! Actually we eat there pretty often. She didn't even return to our table. Manager said not to worry, he'd take my meal off....he took off my meal plus an extra $0.46đđđREALLY?? Uh, no doubt that should deff been taken off seeing as how my meal was a total mess... I'm not one looking for free meals!!! But had he given me my "meal" free and at least some extra 10% discount or something, I'd have walked out feeling like he actually cared about all the issues that he knows happened!!! Nope! Thanks Denny's!! So glad you guys raised your prices!! Makes me want to enjoy the same cost elsewhere where the food tastes a lot better and the service matters to people who care about my experience!!!    Read moreIt's pretty sad when they have a sign posted at every table asking you to leave a 5 Star review for the waitstaff, yet the waitstaff can't take the time to tell you their name nor tell you it costs $1.29 more for one additional raw onion ring (not slice). Imagine my surprise when I got my check and saw an extra $1.29 for an additional hallow ring of onion, especially when I had said "no lettuce." I will NEVER go back here again. The service has been lackluster for the last few years, and the food, barely adequate. The customer service STILL sucks. Whenever there is going to be an additional charge, the customer should be told!! They certainly didn't deduct the price of lettuce from my bill. I pray to God this is one of the Denny's that closes. We finally got the one in Sun City closed. It's time for this one to close. If you want great food, drive to Brother's on 83rd Ave just south of Grand, or JiMichaels on 103rd Ave just north of Grand. Brother's has a burger special every Mon thru Saturday 11am to 3pm for $11.79. Sound too expensive?? What you get is a delicious 1/3 pound hamburger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, (no additional charge for a full slice of onion), Plus big a side of fries AND your beverage. Great service. Consistently, A-rated by the health department. You won't be disappointed. Still want a Denny's fix? Head to Bell Rd, just east of 83rd Ave. Never an asinine MOD. Always clean, GREAT food...
   Read moreWent in on Sunday (Aug 6) at 4:00 pm, the only staff there was 1 server on the floor and 1 cook in the back. After standing at the front for about 5 minutes, the server comes up like she was going to seat me, but stopped at the computer station to put in an order she had just taken. A few moments later, she acknowledged me by saying "I'll be right with you". A few moments later, she says "you can seat yourself" which I replied "I don't want to do your work, I want you to have your job". I probably shouldn't of said that as the experience didn't get better. About a minute after that, another employee came in the store and sat me at a table. The server came over shortly and took my order which was a sandwich that came with a choice of 5 or 6 side items and then was asked what side I wanted and she gave me only three options of two types of fries and onion rings. I wanted none of those and asked for the fresh fruit. I received my food in a quick time frame and it was very good. The server did refill my water glass once. Half way through my meal, the server put my bill on the table and said "no hurry, just take it to the front" which really turned out to be "here's your bill, your service has ended".
