As a property manager, I have to comment on the sewer smell. Like others have mentioned, the smell hits you the moment you walk in. They MUST get a plumber out to source this issue and fix it ASAP. P-trap, sewer line, grease line, blocked plumbing vents, etc are primary sources.
Service is great. Very attentive and courteous.
Food we had was ok. Ordered supreme pizza and jalapeno poppers during happy hour. Ordered a Hot Honey Pulled Pork to go for husband. Guess you have to ask for utensils, ketchup or pulled pork sauce because the to go order will not come with it otherwise. Sandwich was a little dry and the fries could've used some moisture as well. A little thought needs to go into what a customer may want or need with the to go order that they cannot get not sitting in the restaurant or where they might be consuming the meal. Would like to try other menu items, but the odor needs to be addressed before I have anything more than a beverage.
Main issue I have with the food is you MUST know if the food you serve may have allergens. Especially the most common types, i.e. peanuts!!! Some restaurants serve peanuts in their coleslaw. Our waitress asked the kitchen staff and they could not definitively respond yes or no if their cole slaw had peanuts in it!! Beware!!!!!
Atmosphere was pretty nice. Plenty of TVs to watch whatever sport you desire. Chairs are comfy. They do have enough floor space to comfortably add another table or two. Low or high top.
Great potential for a successful business. I can't say I won't be back just from the smell unless they ignore it. It can be resolved. I'm sure...
Read moreThis is the second time we’ve tried to dine in here. The first was July 4 — after confirming via their social media that they were open, we drove out only to find a note taped to the door that they closed at 6pm. No biggie.
Second time was just tonight — a Friday night at about 6:30pm. We knew we’d have to wait and that was completely fine. However they failed to tell us that in the entire restaurant they have one high chair capable of reaching their high top tables. May not seem like an issue, until you realize that all but 3 or 4 of their tables are high tops… so the nice hostess came to us when it was our time after waiting about 20 minutes and said something along the lines of ‘we have a table, but the one high chair we have is already in use.’ Okay no big deal, until the hostess moves on from us and seats someone else at that table without asking what we wanted to do. That didn’t sit well with me. And when I said to the girl “oh are we no longer sitting there?” She said the high chair thing again.
It’s unfortunate because we’d really like to try this new place but keep striking out through no...
Read moreThought we’d try the new spot. The smell hit hard and was worse than when it was haymaker. Sorry but it smells like a toilet. We decided to stay despite it. We were sitting over 10 min before any server acknowledged us. She was seemingly new and said the tablet wasn’t working and she was new to it. So ok. It was then working. We placed order for everything we wanted- drinks and food. We continued to wait and wait and she served her other tables with no regard to our beverages. The appetizer came before drinks and even that person was confused. At that point it was the third time I asked if we should go and at that point we did. I felt bad but there was just rough service with no teamwork or prioritization of freshly sat customers over ones almost done. It got more difficult to manage the smell at that point too and eating would have been a challenge. We never drank or ate anything there. Can’t comment on the food. We did go to their sister location across the street. Night and day service!! The food always consistent and drinks were the priority!! Won’t...
