Lee's Sandwiches — Restaurant in Peoria

I give 2 stars just for the sandwiches sometime. The quality of sandwiches at this place is not consistent (25% - sometime good, 50% is not good/funny & 25% sometime wacky). Why am i still here at least once a month. Because, in Arizona/West Valley, there is no place selling sandwiches, and my kids love sandwiches though. So, We have no peeping choice if We're talking "bánh mì". More, the services at this place is in the peeping Red Flag. (Specially the manager, son of the owner Big Fat Boy I believe) is really "unusual" acts/attitude in The Services Fast Food Business. Long story short, He's just acting like "i don't need u, don't come here ever again alright. My parent is the once wanting it opens but no me, No peeping way ok". Also, I have seen more than 20 different males-females at the window take/give orders to customers within 6 moths. It meant NOT a good environment to work with OR Big Fat Boss has too much attitude & bossy when Paying as minimum wave with 4-5 responsibilities on top. Waiting for your foods are an peeping "unusual times". Sometime, u will wait from 15 - 20' for your orders to be delivery on the window with no explanation or a word sorry,/thanks for being patient, None of those alright. This is fast food chains right.? Why on earth it took that long? . . In the conclusion, this place is so peeping "UNUSUAL" business is still opening in Arizona or USA that i have ever seen before. By the way, Right now, 2022 They're still opening jobs overthere though. LOL

I had been going here for years, but decided to stop after today. It's not what it used to be, and they could do better. Maintenance has been neglected for a long time. The restaurant is overall dirty, and broken down. There were tables fallen over with the legs broken off, and with signs saying "don't use" instead of removing. They just put a wet floor sign on top. Light fixture hanging from wires in ceiling. The bathroom was gross, and both soap dispensers were empty. There was a bottle of random watered-down soap on the counter that was about empty as well. I ordered one banh mi, and it took about 10 minutes despite the restaurant being empty. They staff was casually walking around and not doing much besides talking to each other, or on the phone. They should have been cleaning. Tables that weren't broken, were dirty. Chairs are pretty dirty too. The baguette was cold and chewy. There was about 2 slices of meat, very little veg (one small sprig of cilantro + one of the thinnest jalapeno slices ever), and no mayo that it came with. There was almost nothing to the sandwich. They also raised their prices. Not worth it for the food, cleanliness of the restaurant, and poor...

The food is great, but drive through Sunday evening around 17:30 took ridiculously long. I ordered 2 sandwiches and while modifying my order the girl who was taking my order completely left. I wasn't sure if she got all the mods or if I needed to pull forward, there was just silence for almost 5 min when a guy spoke up and said to pull forward. There were 2 cars in front of us, one at the window and one in front of us. We waited close to 30 minutes for 2 cold sandwiches. At the window I could see at least 5 people there screwing around and laughing. I've never waited 30 + minutes for 2 cold subs. With 5 people working, they should've been able to handle only 3 cars and 1 walk in order in a matter of minutes. I've worked in a couple restaurants and have a really good understanding of how long it takes to prepare certain orders, especially since I go here at least once a week. I'm hesitant to go back. Not only that, but we found long black/dark brown hair in both of our sandwiches. Waited forever for two freaking subs with meat and all veggies in the side and had hair in both. Completely...
