Fresco's Bagels — Restaurant in Pequannock Township

This place is so damn good! A couple of days ago I got, Fresco’s Bagels, for breakfast. It was fantastic. I had ordered their Garlic Bagel Toasted w/ Cream Cheese. I’ve honestly never had a bagel that good before. The exterior was crunchy and crispy, while the interior was airy and fluffy. Absolutely amazing. The cream cheese was an awesome compliment too. The lady who took my order was nice and attentive. Made sure my order was correct and had a wonderful personality. And the fact that I was in and out in less than 10 minutes was a major plus. I was in a rush, and famished. I would usually order two bagels (typically with bacon TML 😉), and man was I PO’d I did not get another one. This place is the biggest rip off ever.. ordered 2 scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and nothing else .... paid $9!!!!!!! Look at the picture I posted , they shouldn't be charging that much for simple items that can't even fill the average person.. plus anytime I order a Bagel with cheese or anything with butter on it they put TONS of Some type of oil based flavorless butter on there that destroys the whole meal. The grill cheese or scrambled eggs with cheese taste like government cheese... again flavorless. And when it comes to scrambled eggs with cheese they just slap a slice of cheese on top the eggs and call it a day. They don't even try to mix it in then have the nerve to charge these uppity prices. Please go somewhere else....they are not worth anyone's...

What I liked: The coffee was good, and the staff was friendly. What I didn't love is the bagel and cream cheese. I don't know what ratio of veggies to cream cheese qualifies it to count as "veggy cream cheese" but I know this isn't it. More like a few peppers accidentally dropped in regular cream cheese. No other veg, at all and barely peppers. The peppers were nice and crunchy but it was sad. I have empathy for small businesses with pricing and inflation but the fix for this cream cheese shouldn't break the bank. Also the bagel was nice and soft but could use a minute or 2 more in the cooker.
