Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Pere Marquette Charter Township

New add on as of 9/2023 Ordered 2 pizza melts. One for dinner, one for next day. Ended up having to eat both, as each were barely bigger than a medium slice of pizza. They were so dry, that you literally have to have something to drink with it, or come on getting it down. Would have been really good, if it were the size advertised, and wasn't dry as sandpaper. Staff on duty was taking away to the couple on front of me, and continued to do so after I got to the counter. The guy rang me up, barely spoke to me, and said have a good night. 🤷🙄 The following was from a previous experience. There were 3 waitresses on duty. During buffet hours. We had a party of 5, only 4 other tables in entire place. While we were there, waitress came over once. Had a nasty attitude, and only removed 3 plates the entire time we were there. Only did drink refills the one time she came over. 3 days before this visit, a friend of mine (out of above party of 5)and I went for dinner around 5ish. Again, only 3-4 tables in place. 3 waitresses on. Took waitress almost 15 to come to table. She took our order, it came out about 20-25 minutes later. There was a filthy table right next to us, and it remained that way or entire visit. Our waitress came out and took top off of it and left everything else. She overcharged us on everything we ordered, except the drinks...which were never refilled. When I questioned the overcharging when we left, the shift manager on duty argued with me about it all, and acted as if I were the reason for the overcharging. Shouldn't the waitress KNOW the prices and menu? The entire time we were eating our meal, our waitress and a couple others in kitchen, did nothing but stand and talk. There was only one waitress cleaning up and doing what was supposed to get done. ...Tracey? I left no tip either time. Now we're really reconsidering going there on lunch anymore...good service is a must! Especially if...

I used to get good service here, but recently it has gone in to a decline. A new type of crust came out and when we went to try it, this restaurant discontinued it, only after a week of it's debut. The last time I came, I picked up my food for carry out, they gave me my food, but it wasn't until I got home that I realized they didn't give me every thing. This was an error on both their and my part. I should have checked. Now today, which has prompted this review as I wait for my food to be made an hour and a half after I ordered it, is another story. We ordered by phone for carry out. We waited the 45 minutes they said for it to be ready and I drove across town. When I got here there were about eight people waiting for their food. I saw what was on the warmers and it seemed that everyone was getting their food about ten minutes after it was placed there. And when I was finally helped, I asked if my order was ready, she looked at the screen blankly and said no. Then a gentleman behind me asked me what I ordered then proceeded to list my order, I said yeah. They gave my order to him, and he gave it back and they chucked my food. So now I sit, waiting for my food much later than when I ordered it the first time. It might be a while before I try this...

Most pizzas with regular crust have been bad experiences with little toppings, sauce, and bad crust taste...unsatisfying... But decided to try again and ordered the stuffed crust with 2 toppings through the app and pizza, flavor, and texture were almost perfect!!! Much better than the New Yorker, which left much to be desired. The stuffed crust was thinner, cheesy, saucy, and sauce tasted great with that slight NY sweetness. The crust was full of cheese with a slight garlic flavor. It was so good. Haven't had this satisfactory flavor and texture in 20 years. Not sure what is done differently for this crust besides stuffing it with cheese but the regular crust doesn't compare. Last 3 regular crust pizzas were dry and awful with little sauce and topping. Perhaps this time I got a good pizza maker, but it could also be the crust recipe used. If it is all the same dough used then it might have to do with the maker/baker. That's why I gave 3 stars for food. Cheesy bread sticks are usually the best here but with lesser cheese in past few years. Heard the cheese sticks newer price includes more cheese though so am going to try them again. Workers are quite good also, friendly and get the job...
