Manny's Sports Tavern and Grill-Sandusky, OH — Restaurant in Perkins Township

First time eating at Mannys. We ordered a couple of appetizers. We went with the homemade tots and the pretzel bites. The tots were great! The cheese and bacon inside was a great added touch. The pretzel bites were equally as good. Soft and not overcooked. The beer cheese that comes with it has a lot of flavor as well. For my main dish, I went with the Sicilian. Many flavors coming together in this sandwich, all of which were good! The hoagie bun had a great crisp to it but still managed to be soft as well. The only downfall and everyone at the table agreed was the homecut fries. They just didn't really have much of a taste. For me, I would pass on the fries next time.

We were a group of 7. When we arrived there were less than 15 people in the place. Our waiter took 15 minutes to come and get drink orders. Nothing complicated, 2 waters, 2 pops and 3 beers. Waited another 15 minutes for those. 20 minutes later he took our food order. It was 45 minutes before four of our meals arrived and those 4 were done eating before the rest of us were served. The tables nearby that were seated after us were promptly waited on and served long before the 1st meal arrived at our table. The service we received was atrocious. Our waiter totally deserted our table and we later found out he was helping with a group of 25 who arrived after we did. We dealt with 3 different girls for some reason (half the place was empty). All had bad attitudes. A few interactions and it was clear to us we should avoid asking their opinion on food and asking any further questions. They returned with our food 55 mins after we ordered it then came out with our appetizer after we had already began eating our meal. Not once did they stop by and ask about refills. I then had to flag down a girl for a simple refill because they were never around. I eventual had to get up find someone to get the check.
