We went through the drive-thru Friday August 16th around 8:30 p.m. the lights were not turned on outside. The restaurant was not busy at all. We pulled up to the drive-thru and sat for a while. No one answered I had to keep saying hello is anybody there. Finally someone came on and said you can go ahead with your order. I gave them my order and spoke clearly and slowly and the male employee read it back and got it wrong. I said no he seemed a bit frustrated and said what was it then. I told him again he said okay pullaround. Pulled around and he was socializing and talking to someone else and then finally made time to collect the money. He did not smile or greet me. They asked me to pull up to the next window which I did. Again no one smiling no greeting and they handed me drinks and I had to ask which one was the diet. There was something stuck to the lid and the drinks were not topped off. Again there was nearly no one in the lobby and no one at the drive-thru. They told me the food was not ready I would need to pull up to the number one slot in the parking lot. We sat out at the number one spot and then another car was pulled up beside us and had to wait on a food also. We waited nearly 8-10 minutes for (2) combo 9's. Two employees walked out with bags one for us and one for the car next to us but they had no idea who was supposed to get what. I opened my bag and our fries were ice cold and we only have three cheeseburger. I got out of the car and went back inside and the two employees one male one female we're sitting in the lobby and when they saw me come in they just said take your food to the counter and they will just make you new food without even knowing what the problem was. I walked up to the counter the store has an abundance of employees working yet it was not busy. They were all walking around doing their own thing socializing and being unproductive. The store was filthy and it was complete chaos and nobody was in charge everybody was just doing what they wanted to do. I told one of the employees I didn't want the food now I just wanted a refund. The employee told Uma musume was a supervisor that we wanted a refund and she did not acknowledge that I was there and there was no sense of urgency from anyone. When she got around to it I had to tell her again that we wanted a refund and she did not ask any questions smile or say anything she just asked if we paid with cash or credit card and I said credit card and she said she would need the card. She slowly walked to the back of the store and was gone for a little bit. She came back up handed me my card and a receipt that I couldn't read and walked away and said nothing else. As I said the store was filthy the lights went out on outside the employees every one of them was rude and no sense of urgency this isn't just the worst McDonald's I have ever been to it's the worst restaurant I have encountered in quite a while. The car that sat next to me in the lot also have the wrong food and they were still in there when I left. She ordered a fry with no salt she took it back in and they gave her a new fry and she said it's just without salt and once again they said no and she had to wait again for the correct fries. A district or regional manager needs to go into this restaurant and clean house and start all over again and retrain new employees because this is absolutely a nightmare restaurant. Good luck we will...
Read moreA complete disaster. (Popcorn time) After an long amazing day at the beach with my girlfriend and our kids we decided to stop for a late night snack on our way home. Approx 10pm we attempted to place and order at the drive through. The unenthusiastic employee had very broken English and was not clearly spoken. She also could not comprehend what we were ordering. We wanted 3 mcnugget happy meals with hot mustard and sprite's, a spicy chicken combo with the sprite lemonade freeze, a 10pc nugget with fries and 2 mc chickens. After trying to communicate and correct our order with unpleasant attitude from the employee, our order screen changed at least 3 times before we pulled around. T he only saving grace was the wonderful lady at the payment window. She was a pleasure, making sure she was charging for the correct order. Checking our receipt it had an extra crispy chicken sandwich listed but we brushed that off. We received the 3 happy meals. ( Finding later the sprites had no syrup and the kids were disgusted by the state of their fries.) We received one spicy chicken with fries. They were out of the sprite lemonade drink. (which was an upcharge mind you)and offered any drink. (Settled on an ice tea.) We asked twice for the spicey mustard listed on the receipt and received honey mustard each time. And received one 10pc nugget, no fries. None of the 3 people properly understood us at the window trying to correct our order. We still needed a fry and 2 sandwiches. We told them we were still missing several items from our order. They offered us the fries after baffled looks and talks amongst themselves in their first language. We never received the sandwiches. Beyond frustrated we pulled away calming the kids down and reminding ourselves we had an amazing day and even though this experience was frustrating, unfair and upsetting we weren't going to let it ruin our special day. It is heartbreaking we spent 50 hard earned dollars for subpar food(what we did receive) and awful...
Read moreCame in at today Monday, June 15, 2020 1:15 PM EST to pick up a Doordash order that was scheduled for pickup NO LATER THAN 1:17 PM EST. When I got the food, the employee didn't bother securing the bags closed with stickers until I had to ask for them. The whole process was SLOW. I didn't get the food until nearly 1:30 PM EST. I asked the worker if they get the pickup time deadline on THEIR end and she said "NO." So I told her about how Doordashers run on a time limit and that they have to pick up food NO LATER than the scheduled pickup time. The employee acted like she could care less and was RUDE the entire time. There was another customer waiting in front of me to get food for herself, but I could SEE my customer's food just sitting out, NOT even bagged yet. They had other employees just wandering around acting like they were bored so they "cleaned" stuff in the dining room while my customer's food was just sitting out, possibly getting COLD and NO LONGER FRESH. They didn't start bagging everything until the customer in front of me walked away with her stuff. The worst part of it all was the fact ALL of the nearby employees CLEARLY saw me standing there patiently, holding my Doordash bag as obvious as possible, and nobody had the decency to greet me even though I was in line.
TIP FOR MCDONALD'S EMPLOYEES: WHEN YOU SEE A DOORDASHER ENTER THE BUILDING WAITING TO PICK UP THEIR CUSTOMERS' FOOD, ACKNOWLEDGE THE DOORDASHER, KEEP IN MIND THAT THEY ARE ON A TIME LIMIT. THEY HAVE DEADLINE PICKUP TIMES AND IF THEY GET THE FOOD LATE, THE CUSTOMER CAN/WILL GIVE A BAD RATING, WHEN IT CLEARLY ISN'T THE DOORDASHER'S FAULT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, BAG THE FOOD AND SECURE IT CLOSED WITH STICKERS AS SOON AS THE FOOD IS *MADE. DON'T JUST LET IT SIT OUT GETTING COLD BECAUSE THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE (THAT ISN'T A DOORDASHER) IN LINE IN FRONT OF...
