We recently had the pleasure of dining at Corky's Restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I, along with a group of family and friends, were warmly greeted upon arrival. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, we were delighted to find that our table for 10 was ready within a reasonable 15-minute wait.
Once seated, we eagerly perused the menu, and the options were truly mouthwatering. After much deliberation, I decided to indulge in the tantalizing combination of bacon, ham, sausage, onion, bell pepper, and cheese with perfectly cooked hash browns. The flavors harmonized beautifully, creating a breakfast masterpiece that left me in awe. Chris opted for Barry's "Junk Scramble," a delightful medley of ingredients that was equally impressive.
To complete our meal, we couldn't resist ordering a side of the Stuffed French Toast. It arrived at our table adorned with a generous dollop of whipped cream and fresh berries. With each bite, we savored the perfect balance of sweetness and indulgence. It was clear that Corky's takes great pride in their culinary offerings.
It wasn't just the exceptional food that made our visit memorable. The service we received was truly outstanding. The staff at Corky's went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. From the moment we sat down until the moment we left, they made us feel like valued guests. Our drinks were promptly refilled, and any special requests were met with a smile. It was evident that the staff genuinely cared about our satisfaction and enjoyment.
The atmosphere at Corky's was also noteworthy. The restaurant had a warm and inviting ambiance, with comfortable seating and tasteful decor. The energy of the place was infectious, and it was clear that both the staff and fellow diners were enjoying themselves.
I can confidently say that Corky's Restaurant exceeded all expectations. The combination of delicious meals, outstanding service, and inviting atmosphere created a truly unforgettable experience. I left the restaurant feeling not only satisfied but also uplifted by the genuine hospitality we received. I will certainly be returning in the future and wholeheartedly recommend Corky's to anyone seeking a fantastic dining experience.

Read moreNot at all what we expected. Hubs & I got a big takeout order to fill us up for brunch and dinner, but I guess our expectations were too high for what we spent 💸 The Avocado Toast sounded great, when a review on their website said, "Super yum but way too much arugula and no radishes." In my case, I had plenty of radishes but couldn't taste the arugula.
The Caramel Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast was not as decadent we would have expected, and just tasted like slightly sweetened French toast. We wanted to make it a Stuffed French Toast Combo, but that combo strictly comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon or sausage. As a vegetarian option, many restaurants will allow 2 eggs, and hash browns, but Corky's did not allow this option when we asked.
Breakfast Burritos come with scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage & cheese. We inquired of the vegetarian option of Avocado in lieu of bacon AND sausage, but all we could do was remove the bacon and sausage from $10.59 burritos (w/ no price reduction) and add avocado for another $1.49 🥑. The best part of the breakfast burritos was the hot salsa 🌯
Finally, we thought we'd treat ourselves to a slice of Reese's Cheesecake, when we read the website review, "It was amazing! Peanut butter chunks in every bite." We found no actual peanut butter chunks, it was really a pretty basic cheesecake and not as rich as it sounded. We actually had to go back inside and ask for the cheesecake, after the bag we were handed didn't seem to be big enough to have everything in it. When I asked about it the cashier had forgotten to grab it so I'm glad we didn't discover this after driving home and unpacking the bag!
A final note for fellow vegetarian foodies, they had a sign that all burgers can now be "Impossible" for "only $3 more." Although we're always glad to see Impossible burger offered, we typically don't pay more than $1-2...
Read moreMediocre food, bad service and outrageous prices! It was our first time at Corky's and I think it must have been our server's first day, so maybe our meal was ill-fated from the beginning. He seemed very nervous and didn't really know the menu or what questions to ask when we ordered something. I ordered chili and salad combo, and he didn't know if it could be a combo. He didn't ask if I wanted cheese and onions, which I did so it fine, but usually servers ask, especially about onions. The chili was the highlight of the meal - very good and tasted homemade. The combo was supposed to come with bread and fruit but it never came - I asked a couple of times but he didn't seem to understand. I also asked for a side of jalapenos for the chili, which seemed to confuse him, but finally he brought 2 cooked jalapenos just as I was finishing the chilli. I was charged $4 for them, which he didn't mention. The manager removed the charge, as well as the duplicate charge for the chili, after some discussion. My son and his friend both got meatloaf - huge servings, but relatively tasteless even though they were smothered in gravy - and the mashed potatoes were on the runny side, and also bland. We also ordered 2 blueberry muffins for dessert, and the server apparently brought the smaller breakfast muffins. The manager somehow recognized the error and replaced them with the desert muffins, which I didn't see. But the breakfast muffins were a bit dry and not many blueberries. And the price for 2 entries and a chili combo? An outrageous $72 without the overcharges or tip! Oh and I forgot to mention that we saw the server preparing our salads with his bare...
