Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Perrysburg

Went for the lunch buffet on a Friday. It was mildly busy with seemingly only two employees working the store (although there may have been a 3rd working in the back somewhere). Service was understandably a little slow but thanks to it being a buffet, it wasn't a huge deal. They were a little slow at bringing out a fresh pie after one had been eaten, but there was at least always something available.

Plastic silverware, napkins, and packets of parmesan and red pepper flakes were available on top of the buffet, along with plates in their expected place. They have a "pizza buffet rotation menu" posted. This included all the usual suspects from cheese and pepperoni, to supreme and meat lovers all with various crust options (minus stuffed crust). There's also pasta, bread sticks, cinnamon sticks, and marinara dipping sauce. Sadly no icing for the cinnamon sticks. There is also no salad bar at this location.

One of the employees would occasionally walk through the dining room to collect dirty plates and refill drinks, although if you desperately need a refill, you might want to walk up to the counter.

To me it feels like the store was initially designed for table service but due to staffing shortages (or just wanting to save a buck) they can't provide that full experience. It would work better if there was a soda fountain in the dining room and somewhere for customers to return the dirty plates. Right now it seems to be in an awkward place with the service.

The employees were friendly and seemed to be trying their best though. Shout-out to those guys!

Upon leaving you have to pay at the counter. They give you a receipt stub when you enter.

Overall I'm glad to see the buffet back. Great for those times when you want to eat an uncomfortable amount of pizza or have a variety.

After placing an online order it was stated that our order would be ready at 6:20pm. Upon arriving to the location at 6:21pm I had to wait in the lobby for over 5 minutes before I saw a staff member. I was the only person in line so I found that a bit odd. There were food sitting on the oven that had just come out, (turns out it was my food). After waiting to see if there was anyone working a gentleman came from the back and asked if I had an order placed. I told him my name and he told me it would be at least 5 minutes. After waiting another 7 minutes ( now it was 11 minutes past my ready time) he brought me my items and I left. Once I opened my products at home (5 minute drive from location) it was undercooked. The stuffed crust part of the pizza was barely cooked ( the cheese was barely warm in the crust) and it looked pale like when dough is undercooked. The extra cheese that was ordered was not there. The breadsticks were also pale and undercooked. And we got a 2 ounce souflee cup of sauce which is not enough for 1 order of breadsticks. Finally our entire order was now cold (I’m guessing because it sat on the oven conveyor for who knows how long before it was packaged). Huge Shout out to Jeffery and Brian for locking down unmatched customer service! I took my mother and grandmother there last Saturday for the buffet, and walking in, it seemed quite chaotic. There was a full dinning room, people waiting on pickup of their orders, the buffet had some items missing. Rest assured Jeffery and Brian crushed it! Hot pizzas and breadsticks flying out of the kitchen when my grandma and mom showed up a little after 1 pm. Though the dining room seemed extremely busy, their poise in the picket remained high level, interacting with us and the other guests making sure our drinks were always filled and our stomachs!

This is my childhood location, we were always coming in for our Book-It stickers and personal pan pizzas, and it was nice coming home for the holidays (now as an adult) to see that the service her was still top notch! In a day and age where you can receive a lack luster performance from the staff, coming her did not disappoint whatsoever! Hats off to the friendly and cater focused staff here!
