If you are looking for real smoothies this is not the place to go. What they advertise as smoothies are just highly concentrated protein shakes that leave a gritty felling in my mouth. These shakes are just milk, ice, and a bunch of different nutritional powder substitutes, NOT FRUITS AND VEGGIES which is what I expected. The staff went straight to their combo offer of aloe shot, tea, and “smoothie, when asked if I could get just a smoothie she explained that it came as a combo and not alone. I have been coming in for years sitting and chatting with the workers. I always used to love their purpose and items. But then it was shared with me that all the money I was giving in tips, didn’t even go to the workers. It goes back to the owners business. The workers barely make minimum wage too which was shocking to find out. The turn over rate is astronomical for workers here and I was told it’s because the owners are sure to excuse any wrong doing for their children and long time friends that work here. So I always go to this place with my friend and I love the tea bombs and shakes and usually have a good experience. I went in there one day to get a tea bomb before work and wasn’t greeted when I came in, then I wasn’t even acknowledged when I was standing there looking over the menu. Finally an older girl with glasses came up to me I believe her name is Annette and stood there and asked me what I wanted.
