I cannot believe that I would ever have to write this review. For almost ten years I have been coming here. This USED to be my favorite Wendy’s in Northwest Ohio. USED TO BE. Over the past six months or so the care towards food quality and most notably customer service has completely fallen off. Today was the last straw. I will drive to Bowling Green to Wendy’s on South Main (which is consistently amazing) then ever going to Perrysburg again. I understand that things are busy during dinner time and like seemingly every other establishment the work force is severely limited. This doesn’t give the woman at the drive thru reason to be rude, annoyed, and indifferent to ME placing an order. I AM CHOOSING TO SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT - EXCUSE ME. You have a job, THAT YOU CHOSE TO DO. No ONE IS FORCING YOU TO WORK HERE. The prices are high enough already and these days (the food is subpar here at best, chili stone cold OR ONCE AGAIN “THEY RAN OUT,” cold beef patties, dry buns, etc etc.) I don’t know who the manager is here now but they have completely let it go. I sure hope this Wendy’s CAN GET A GRIP and turn things around. Maybe I’ll come back in 2022 and try it again. Get a new staff and improve food consistency to the standards it used to be and maybe you’ll have a chance. For now, I do NOT recommend anyone coming here. They clearly would be happier if you stayed home judging by the current attitudes of the “crew.” Amateur hour. By the way, after my completely rude and annoyed experience upon FINALLY reaching ordering board in the pouring rain and being yelled at “WE DON’T HAVE ANY” about the chili they once again had ran out of, I told them to scratch the order and drove away. Read moreI'm guessing no one has taken them up on their "We're hiring" sign/table. The service here has gotten extremely slow. I have gone through the drive through a couple times at lunch and thought it must have been a fluke but on the most recent visit, during lunch, I went in to eat. The drive through was completely backed up, inside there was a decent line but not horrible. We waited for what felt like 15 minutes to place our order with only 5 or so people in front of us. By the time we got our food, I decided to time them and watched as the next person walked in the door and got in line. It was pretty shocking to see that by the time he waited in line and got his food, 24 minutes had passed. You could see the looks on people's faces as they first came in and started their wait change to frustration by the time they finally got to place their order. This could all be understood if there was a decent number of people working but there were only 7 people working, including the one who was taking orders inside and the other who was taking orders at the drive through and lastly, the gentleman who cleans the tables. She wasn’t raise right non lady like what so ever. How can a worker get made at customer for asking for their food fresh when they the one’s who are paying for their food or childs food to be made fresh. Kids need to realize without the customers you guys as workers wouldn’t even have a JOB!!! Uncalled for snatching food back out of customers hands and cussing when your the one’s whom did not complete the order correctly! Then want to return food by re-cooking it in grease like customers dont know the difference between fresh foods! Then want to take all day giving a customer their money back like its hurting you to do so. Who wants to get food from service like this and rude workers. Who clearly have drug problems!
