Bayside Creamery — Restaurant in Perth Amboy

This ice cream shop is very charming. As previously posted by some other customers, it's Hershey's, but it's very good. They have a good amount of unique flavors to choose from. The salted caramel vanilla truffle and the coconut almond are my favorites. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would have given this place 5 stars, but the staff member that was assisting us with our order was wearing her face mask just over her mouth and her nose wasn't covered at all. While we were ordering, she kept pulling her face mask down under her mouth to respond to us (as she was scooping the ice cream). Really? Today on 5/20/25 my sister and my nieces and myself walked in excited to get ice cream. The young man with striped shirt and young lady with the black hoodie were giggling and talking amongst themselves instead of greeting us when we greeted them. My nieces 11 and 9 noticed that they were giggling impolitely. We really enjoyed the ice cream but not the service. We will be back and hopefully this can be addressed with these young people. The website says 9:30 and the doors are locked at 9. I called and they answered and I asked if they were closed a they said yes. I said but the Wendy says 9:39. She said we have not been able to update the website. I’m out here with my kids and it’s raining! Seriously nothing about that is ok. If your site says 9:30 then you should be open until 9:30.
