Grandma's house in monte rio cal is an amazing place to plan a family vacation ! It has a warm welcoming feeling ! It has a hot tub a big pool table a real video game that has the old games like space invators, Pacman ,etc ! You have a private beach ,kyakes,swim toys, floats, life jackets etc! It has 4 nice size bedrooms and a game room that has a futon! Each bedroom has a name. First there is the Hideaway, which has a king size bed and a single size pullout couch. Then there is Swallowsnest which has a california king size bed and a double size pull out couch. Both of these bedrooms have view of river ! Then there is road side which is the smallest room and has a queen size bed . Next is riverside which has a king size bed . Both of these rooms have their own private deck and entrance that go out to the side yard ! Both of these rooms also have kitchetes ! The host and his girlfriend ,Steve and Shannon are very nice ,helpful people with huge hearts ! They truly make your stay feel more comfortable ! If your celebrating an anniversary or birthday Shannon will decorate the room with flowers and balloons which adds a special touch ! The kitchen and living room are quit big and has plenty of room for your friends...

I walked in and someone shouted, "get out!" I assumed it was coincidental timing, but the scream was foreboding. This isn't a friendly scene to newcomers or 'outsiders'. I've been curious and I went in after finishing my laundry next door. It was raining cats & dogs and there were only 2 customers and the server. I immediately fell in love with the jukebox! The drink was great and the customers didn't mind me joining their conversation. But I can't usually afford to go out drinking (I'm on SSI) and there's usually far more (& louder)...
