Great place to hava a birthday feast! The restaurant has personality being that it is inside of an old Victorian home. We enjoyed walking from central part of downtown to the restaurant.

Our server was sweet and efficient. I was happy to see her bring us a pitcher of water for the table. She made a point to let you know that the food is seasoned authentically and asked about our spice level.

The Fresh Salad Roll was exactly that; fresh and delicous. The side peanut sauce was heated and gave a nice contrast to the roll

Green Curry with Tofu was creamy and really satiating. The side of Brown Rice had a great texture.

The Pad See Ew was more on the saltier than sweet side and though our least favorite of everything else we had, we enjoyed it.

Pork Thai Boat Noodle Soup has great spice that makes your toes wiggle just enough without kicking anyone from across the table.

We really appreciated how the service were attentive to make sure we had the experience we wanted from what Thai spice meant to them all the way to pay attention to the lid of the...

One of the best Thai restaurants in Petaluma!

Located in a cozy Victorian building on Petaluma Blvd North with front and back dining areas. Service was excellent and attentive.

The menu has selections of traditional Thai foods, plenty of options to add meat, tofu, or protein-less dishes.

We had Tom Yum Soup, Green Papaya Salad, Green Curry with Chicken, Pumpkin Curry with Tofu, and ended with Mango with Sticky Rice, and Fried Bananas with Coconut Ice Cream. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and fantastic.

The portions are generous and very reasonable for the price.

There's a warning on the menu about spice levels, to be taken seriously. I like spicy foods and asked for the Papaya Salad to be mild, and it had more of a kick than anticipated, but tolerable.

We had leftovers to take home and they provided a handled bag with an adorable hand drawn print on it.

Overall an enjoyable and delicious...

I just returned from eating lunch at Chan Chao. The food was good like always but I don't think I'll ever return. There was a family with two two boys that were probably 6 and 9 years old plus a new baby, parents and a grandma. These two boys were kicking the bench, screaming at the top of their lungs and dropping things. The parents never said a thing. I looked and they said "Oh quiet guys". People quick to pay their bill and leaving. When it came time to pay, I told the waitress "I cannot believe that you as the owner would not say anything to these people. That is inappropriate behavior for the establishment." My friend and I could hardly hear ourselves talk. I've never been in that kind of an environment and I hope it's the last time. I cannot believe what animals these kids were. I will not...

We (a group of five) visited for my mom’s birthday lunch on a Saturday. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. For appetizers, we tried gyoza, chicken satay, and chicken samosa—each was delicious! The tom yum soup was incredibly fresh. Everyone loved their entrees (pad Thai, Thai fried rice, larb). All dishes were served hot, fresh, and authentic. The service was top notch! The water carafe was always full. Our waitress was attentive and so kind! Amazing service! The restrooms were spotless, and the dining area was clean and cozy. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this family owned restaurant!
