Denny's — Restaurant in Petaluma

Myself & 2 of my adult kids went for a meal and to check out the remodel that had been done to the Petaluma location. My son & I ordered breakfast slams & my daughter ordered a steak meal. The breakfasts were perfect! As always! The steak was a bit more under done than requested (cold in the center), so she asked for it to be cooked just another minute or so. When it came back, it was obvious it was not placed on the grill, but the entire plate was put in the microwave. The fries were chewy & hotter than before, not crisp & the steak was well done & that odd texture you get from cooking in the microwave. We suggested she say something & she shook her head & said it wasn't worth it. $20 for a plate she didn't actually enjoy!

The review asks for meals I recommend. I recommend everything! I selected a handful that we've had in the past. We just had a bad experience with an undercooked steak. Medium rare is not cold in the center. And microwaveing is...

If there were negitive stars i would give petaluma denny's a -10 I had a waiter named Christian who was the rudest waiter i have ever encountered. We asked for ranch and he gives us one cup, (for 3adults and 1child) we asked for more he said "ok" and brought a little tiny cup, then said he thought that was enough for us, if we had more he would have to charge. We ate our food and not only did he NOT check in with us on how we were doing, we sat there for 25mins obviously done waiting for our check. He messed up our order, charged us for a side salad for my 3yo special needs child , and fought to give us our .99 cent side salad (i asked to talk to his supervisor, he said he/she wasnt there, i asked if he could call, No was the answer, i then told him i will call the police, which he then decieded to give me my salad.) The only reason this place is getting one star is because I had no choice. Right when we walked in the host was rude and had an attitude. She gave us our menus several minutes after we were already seated and before we could look at it she asked what we wanted as if we had already knew. We didn't even have time to browse the menu. We told her we would like 2 waters. She returned with filthy glasses and they were so small as if they were meant for children. We were sitting there for a few minutes before our server came over. She didn't ask how we were doing or anything of that nature. She was very rushed and after we said we weren't ready yet she said,"Oh let me know" as she turned her back and was walking away from us. We were so upset we just got up and walked out. I will not be coming back here ever again. I will gladly go some place else where they are kind and actually pay...
