Candlepin Bowling has become an endangered species. You can't find a more authentic candlepin experience than at Bowling Acres - the name is a very funny misnomer. Not packed with modern amenities - though it has pin-setting, of course. You'll be keeping your own score(s). We saw a lot of kids having a blast - candlepin is considerably more fun for them (especially with gutter rails) than tenpin. Read moreI took my 5 year old son here today with my mom. First I will say the guy behind the counter was nice so he had nothing to do with my review. But the building itself is gross. The roof was all water stained and half the arcades didn’t work. Just very run down and needs to be updated and cleaned. I haven’t been to a bowling alley we’re you have to write your score down in a long time. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom. Overall I just wouldn’t recommend at all, which is sad because it was my sons first experience at a bowling alley. Oh and my shoes were so beat up there were holes all along the side...

I've had a few things, chicken tenders are yummy & crispy, fries are good, honestly I've never ordered something that wasn't good. The staff is friendly, usually get take out, as there's limited seating in the bar area, but when we do, service is good and fast. Definitely try the burgers!!
