I should start off by saying the food is so consistently exceptional, it nearly needs its own review. This is my attempt at keeping it brief. That being said, the Filet Oscar on a bed of asparagus with hollandaise, had the most lump, delicious jumbo-crab meat I’ve ever had at a restaurant of this caliber. I ordered my filet rare, and it was perfectly cooked to temperature. The asparagus was so delicious, it had a crisp crunchiness I wasn’t expecting. This was definitely not the blanched, bland asparagus some other restaurants put out. My boyfriends entree, the Spots, was phenomenal as well, and came highly recommended. The calamari appetizer reels me in every time and it truly is the best in the area hands-down. It’s a must-have no matter what entree you follow-up with. We got dessert to-go, and I can’t wait to dig in.

On to Lisa: Our server Lisa was a ray of sunshine on a cold winter date-night! She had a refill of iced-tea ready for me just as I finished my last. She was quick with the orders, boxing everything up, and genuinely looked pleased to be helping us. When we couldn’t decide on a side or selection, she guided us to the tastiest option. We never felt rushed and if we needed anything we knew she’d be right over. I am a full-time server and immediately recognized her timing was impeccable. Overall, she was quick, pleasant and perfect. Bravo and well done, Lisa.

This trattoria is 100% worth every penny - the value is spot-on. Thanks Franco’s, everything...

Went here for our anniversary dinner and was highly disappointed. When we sat down a waiter started running a vacuum around us (it was 5:00pm, not the time to get the restaurant ready). our server was personable, but lacked information about the menu. I ordered the lobster ravioli and scallops and my dinner was served cold, it was not even warm. Our server never stopped back to check on us or ask us how the food was. needless to say, I ate the dinner because I was hungry. We waited about 20 minutes after we were done eating until another server stopped and asked us if we were done and that our server was in the back getting ready for another party or something. When we explained how cold my food was, the server said he would speak with his manager. His manager said "well she ate it." so he couldn't do anything. Yes, I ate it! I sat there for 30+ minutes with no service and was hungry!

Needless to say we are new to the area and we were hoping to make this restaurant one of our frequent stops, but I don't think we will ever be back after the lack of service,...

May 2021 Update - Got to visit them again and the food is still very good. It is the same style as it was and with the COVID restrictions being lifted is busy again. See the pictures for the current crop of offerings.

Higher end Italian american restaurant serving all the expected offerings. What distinguishes them is the quality of execution. We had the Chicken Marsala and the chicken was sauteed perfectly, we cut through it with our forks, the sauce was velvety and tasted of Marsala and it was covered in mushrooms. We would have preferred Creminis to the Shiitakes they used, but that's a minor quibble.

We also tried the vegetable ravioli which were also cooked well. Stuffed with a medley of chopped veggies and coated with a crumble that included cheese and garlic chips, they were just right.

The zucchini appetizer must be shared by four, it is so much food, and then they also give you a salad and a bread plate! Needless to say, we took leftovers home.

The owner is there and is knowledgable about the wines he offers so feel free to...

We stopped in on Wednesday night around 8:30PM, around 30 mins before the kitchen closes, but that was not a problem. Our server was quick and efficient. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine. I had the Chicken Parmesan - three big pieces, plus a salad, and a side of pasta. My partner in crime had scallops scallops (she has a shrimp allergy so they substituted scallops for shrimp) with nine scallops for $26 - what a bargain and delicious. We had so much food we had it for lunch the next two days. Will definitely return. Trust me - you’re going to love it!
