first I went to the address that was online it was the wrong address. So then I had my husband to call the numbers try to figure out where they had moved. We were told we would have to order online and come pick up. Which if I would have went to the establishment before we paid online I would not have gotten anything from them. This place was recommended by someone they could have kept this place to themselves. We live in Austin but we went over to the Pflugerville location after we left the Round Rock location that was no longer open. We went yesterday and was not impressed at all. Apart from the inside of the establishment being a mess and that could be seen from outside the door. We were served curbside. No plasticware or napkins were provided. We called the inside so someone can bring it and was told they are getting trying to get everything set up so they can't find these items. Then was told they can't open them yet. Well why are you doing business if it's so a mess that you can't find the two basic things to serve with the cinnamon rolls? We have to find a store and find forks and napkins. It made me question my entire purchase because it was very unprofessional and made me think that the inside was not clean or organized for anyone to be trying to cook an item for others. The peach cobbler roll didn't even have all the ingredients on it that it was supposed to include the only thing they did was throw peaches on top I'm so so disappointed. And the cinnamon roll seem to have to been just microwaved I'm upset I wasted my time and money. And about $17 on two cinnamon rolls that weren't worth it. I don't know what this establishment is going to but until they get it together I would not recommend...
Read moreFirst off. Let me start with the cinnamon rolls they offer are the bomb. I abdolutely love them. However, the customer service here is one of the worse. Today I was there for a doordash order and the Tiny lady and the other worker were sitting outside. As I was walking up to the door, she proceeds to walk in as well. She didn't greet me but immediately asked what's the name for the pickup. I advised her of that and she goes to the back for a minute or two and comes out packaging the order (hence, the order was placed but she's outside sitting on her phone, instead of having this order order). She then ask me to confirm the order. I said I have to confirm the item first, so as she was coming closer I saw it was what the customer order. I confirmed it then and she then puts the receipt up to me and I said "Okay. I already confirmed it." She then says " Some of you drivers are just rude." Not sure how I was rude and everything you feel, you don't have to say. I then lifted my hand and ask for the order. She looks at me and says "Not talking to me like that. and then immediately said "Send another driver." So, I asked "Talking to you like how?" I walked out the store and contacted Doordash, while she proceeded to go sit back outside and tell the other worker what happened, which Im sure is slighted. All in all, I feel she just wanted to pull a power trip move. I tried to call and inquire for the owner, to give a little feedback but the person on the phone refused to advise when the owner would be available and just said "I said I can help you." Its always pretty slow here and with this kind of service, I can't see this company having...
Read moreI’ll say this. The place has potential. But I think the service times and recipes both need an adjustment to make it worth it.
My boyfriend and I each got two to try and snack on over a couple days. We arrived to about 6 customers in line ahead of us so we were prepared to wait. Then the cashier indicated it would be about 15 minutes. 30 minutes went by and still nothing. A little later they called my name.
And y’all. They looked GOOD. And they were nice and warm even after our 20 minute drive back home. So we each take a bite. And the same grimace appeared on both our faces. They are CLOYINGLY sweet. But both of those were a little heavily iced so we tried the others which were closer to traditional cinnamon rolls but with toppings. STILL too sweet.
Does it have potential? Yes. But they need to revamp how much sugar goes into the extras. For instance, I got one with a lemon glaze. Of course there will be sugar, but it came across as lemon candy instead of a sour cut through the sweetness. (Also, the raw lemon slice on top is… odd, at best. Consider not adding them at all or candying them instead of candying the rolls.)
So, unfortunately, the only flavor I can really identify is “sweet” at this point. And now the boyfriend’s are in the trash. The time and the semi-steep cost of 1 roll weren’t...
