Sadly, this was one of my first disappointing experiences at a Starbucks. I came in and ordered with an employee who had black pigtails and a number of tattoos & piercings (just as descriptors since I didn’t get her name). She didn’t have the best attitude but I understand customer service is tough at times so I didn’t pay it any mind. I paid and sat down to start doing work on my laptop. It had to have been 10 minutes or so that went by and I’m wondering why my name hasn’t been called, so I go up and ask if the drink on the stand was mine. She said it was (it was a new drink I was trying so I didn’t know what it looked like) and I asked her if they still do the name thing. She looked straight at me and said, “No, I’m sorry we don’t.” Okay, that makes sense why she never asked for my name then.
Fast forward to maybe 30 minutes or so, and I hear three other names being called so I look up and two different employees are calling out customer names. A little frustrated by what I was told earlier, I go up and tell Cara about my experience of being lied to by her employee. She was of course saddened to hear that and apologized, but goodness, lying directly to someone’s face takes bad customer service to...
Read moreDo you want a 50/50 shot at getting your order right? Bam, perfect place right here.
If you don’t taste test it before you leave, there’s a significant chance your order will taste like complete garbage, despite there being clear and obvious steps in the process.
If you point it out, they’ll make a new one for you, but that’s only IF you recognize it before you’re out the door and already at your house several minutes away. If not, you’re stuck with a bitter, inedible, grande sized concoction of vaguely coffee-flavored ice water.
Sick of constantly having to deal with this. I was a regular. Now, after one too many screwups, I’m never going back. To any employees looking at this:
THERE’S A SYRUP PUMP.
THE INGREDIENTS ARE ICE, ROAST, MILK, CHOCOLATE, AND SYRUP.
If you DON’T have that final ingredient, guess what? It’s like drinking carbonated water without the fizz, and that’s five to seven bucks burned if I don’t stand there like a Karen at the checkout making sure it’s right.
When they get it right, it’s right, but it’s a lottery, and I don’t want to pay premium prices...
Read moreI have Starbucks daily and have been coming to this store 1-2 times a week. The drinks have been made fine but service is a little slow. And it surprises me that so many lazy people would rather sit in the drive thru for 20 minutes than actually walk in the store and be out with their drink 5-6 later. For some reason, this Starbucks has the longest line in the area. Today I was very disappointed that it appeared to be slow - 2 cars in drive thru and 4 people sitting inside but nobody was waiting in line. I have a new diet restriction that requires that I monitor carb content of everything I consume. And was kind of blown off by the barista claiming they were kind of busy (3 employees there) and was sure to tell me that she was going to try to look it up on their website. So she let me leave not having what I needed and without taking my money. The most important customer is the one in front of you. Starbucks in general has gone downhill. And this is evidence of the sub par service they are...
