Order included: C21 Salt & Pepper chicken - tasted like it not only sat for days but was left in the frier for hours. Inedible, disgusting. Ate about 6 bites and tossed the rest. N13 Pan Fried Noodle - literally 6pieces of meat, no larger than 2x2 that had been pounded and/or shredded to oblivion, 1 small shriveled shrimp, with 2 small half pieces of broccoli head, 2 water chestnut, 4 small pieces canned baby corn, 1 sliver of mushroom, and perhaps an ounce of Udon-like noodle that were supposed to be "fried" and then cooked in sauce that ended up being half raw and the other half tasting like it sat in the sauce for a month, the sauce being bland except tasting of tons of salt. Ate about a saucer plate size portion and threw out the rest, refused to give it to the dogs, I'm nauseated hoping not to get sick as I write this, god knows what the meat was. A9 Crab Rangoon - NOTHING remotely of crab or crab flavor here, you get an unpleasant smack in the mouth of sour onion when you bite into this. It should be called French Onion rangoon. A2 Egg Roll - completely cabbage, no meat and no option I saw to request meat, bland beyond bland, soaked in grease, couldn't finish half of one. A8 Fantail Shrimp - The only thing I actually finished because I was hungry as nothing else was palatable but even this was shrimp that was almost battered like a corn-dog or beer-battered fish, I've never seen fried shrimp served like this and wouldn't order it again, but I did eat all of it. I may just be a white dude but having come from Ann Arbor Michigan and going to Windsor and Toronto Canada for authentic Chinese food and having dated a transplant from Hong Kong for 3 years, I understand this is "American" Chinese food but this even gives that a bad name. I usually don't go out of my way to post negative reviews however I've never been to Panda Express but I imagine...
Read moreI stopped by here after seeing a movie. The restaurant closed at 10 but I arrived at 9:20. They told me to pick any seat I’d like as I was the only one in the restaurant. After I sat the server greeted me, got me a drink and I ordered. I got the sweet and sour chicken combo as seen in the photo. The meal was brought out rather quickly and everything was hot and fresh. I’m picky about my sweet and sour chicken as it’s my favorite meal. The chicken was crispy and hot, the fried rice was tasty and I wish I had double the amount. The food was fresh and delicious. Some of the best sweet and sour chicken I’ve had in years. I’ve never been here before but decided to try. I am thankful for going. I highly recommend this place just based solely on the sweet and sour meal. They have silly cute coin machines with toys at the front so be sure to bring quarters if you’re bringing little ones. Overall 10/10, I’m happy I went and would go again if I’m in the area. This meal was a treat to myself, something for the lonely wondering soul that is I. The portions could be a little bigger but I don’t want to lower the rating because of that. I know inflation is hurting us all. The staff was extremely welcoming and kind even though I was a late customer. Overall I’d say give this place a chance, you may just be surprised like I was. I’m already craving the meal again, next time I’ll add shrimp lo mein. The total was $17 for a soda and the combination dinner. Not bad. Looking forward to...
Read moreThe first time we ate there it was all excellent. We got the sweet and sour chicken and almond chicken They were both great. And we paid the extra $1 each for the fried rice. The fried rice was good. A little plain but a good texture. Today, I ordered over the phone. Not good. We had communication problems. I said almond chicken, she said lo mein, we did that a couple times. I said almond chicken the last time and thought she got it. We got chop suey, chicken lo mein and sweet and sour pork. The chop suey was terrible. The lo mein was super greasy and made you think it might be bad. Both of those were greasy and kind of a skunky flavor. The sweet and sour pork was dry. Just small breaded chunks of meat. Sauce on the side. The white rice was good though. And the sweet and sour sauce. When I called the lady back, to let her know we didn't get the right take out order she said yes, you got what you ordered. She said she verified the Lo mein with me three times. Each time I said almond chicken. I thought we got it on the last try. I don't know what she thought I was saying when I kept repeating it. Apparently chicken lo mein. It was a very bad experience followed by nasty tasting quality of food. Way too greasy for what it is. Not sure where all that oil comes from. I will still take the sweet and sour chicken and the almond chicken is great. They were when we dined in. We'll see how the next take out goes with just those two things. I'll have someone else...
