I used Affinity Confections for my Turkish Tea Party

Joe for starters was professional, on time, and courteous. He listened to every concern and addressed them expeditiously.

A month before my event Joe scheduled a detailed tasting menu. He was knowledgeable of all ingredients and how recipes could be altered to ensure the small bites could accommodate my guests. As my event grew closer, Joe stayed in contact and ensured my order would be exactly as I needed it to be including arrival/set up and departure/ breakdown details.

My guests were beyond blown away with Affinity Confection's flavor profile, tasty desserts, and beautiful/tidy presentation. The chocolates were my favorite but the vegan brownies were the crowd favorite!!!! I am currently still dreaming about their lemon blueberry scones with lemon icing.

I can not believe how amazing this company is! Everything I asked for was delivered 10x over. I hope to use his services three more...

PAY YOUR INVOICE ASAP OR YOUR ORDER MAY BE BUMPED. I received an invoice this morning and went online to pay at 4pm but order had been cancelled! Reason given: too many other orders (taken past their "72 hour cutoff," so that seems to be more of a guideline) came in and were paid, although no one had warned me the order could be bumped if not paid immediately. I was angry, but asked how we could still make it work. They were VERY professional and understanding - I guess they deal with angry mothers a lot haha - and once I offered to pay an extra $10 gratuity, they offered to have chef himself drop it off so we could still receive the order. I thought that was so generous of them! Cupcakes were tasty and pretty but CUPCAKES ARE MINI-SIZED - they carefully do not mention this anywhere on their webpage, or have any photos of them. With all of the bakeries and pastry shops in Philadelphia, Affinity Confections has a special place in my heart. I have been in love with the company since I first tasted the carrot cupcake which converted a non-carrot cake lover like myself into its biggest fan. Affinity stands out because each cupcake is a gourmet item that stands out in a city filled with gimmicks and over the top desserts. The company offers more than just cupcakes, with a lineup including tarts, cookies and even granola bars.
