AlSalam Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I was very shocked and disappointed when my sister inlaws came back from their visit today with such disturbing news. I work at 5007 wayne avenue, which is a muslim owned business and I would order regularly through out the week, to support our brothers and sisters in Islam. Its the right thing to do. My sister inlaws know I order from here all the time, and regardless of what others have said to me or to them, about not going there because they are rude and some would even say racist, my one sister in law wanted to support them regardless, because we are muslim & in Islam you give people the benefit of the doubt. Even if these statements were true, people can change, Allah willing.

However, I was very shocked hearing how the situation with the chipped beef was handled. My sister inlaws were made to feel like second citizens, and I was even more shocked to hear about the owners comment that he does not need our support, only Allahs..... I understand, Allah is one, and can do all things, but that type of pride is what is said will not be allowed in to Jennah on the day of judgment.

Whatever be the case, we are suppose to support one another, and even if his pride was hurt because a customer, a fellow muslim did not particularly like his style of corn beef, than ma sha Allah, if we truly depend on Allah, than doing the right thing, no matter if that is returning the money back, or admitting we were wrong, or just agreeing to disagree, would be enough so that we are doing what is better in the sight of Allah.

I am sad but I pray that they can find it in their hearts to forgive and find mercy with one another, but I wanted to write this as a reminder that we can not feel above someone, no matter what they look like, Many times angels were disguised as what some may call "lower class" citizens, and everything is a Test from Allah. Lets not let pride or ignorance destroy our emam or blind our judgment. The prophet, PBUH was a humble man and not quick with his words. Let us be mindful. In Islam, we give the fair price, and equally We give the fair treatment, not based on what we think is right or wrong, but what Quran and Sunnah teaches us.

The food I received from this restaurant on Monday was awful. Our order arrived incorrect because they sent home fries instead of grits with the platter, totally forgot the fruit for my some pancakes (which we paid extra for), and to top it off the pancakes were rubbery and the turkey sausage links were burnt to a crisp. I just spoke with the manager who informed me that there was nothing they could do because it's Wednesday, which is ridiculous when we had to throw the food away. I usually don't leave reviews when I have a bad experience, but to refuse to do anything at all when I have pictures of how the food came to my house because I didn't call the next day (I was out of town on business yesterday) is preposterous; especially since I called the night they delivered that rubbish, but no one answered the phone, even though the store would not have closed until half an hour later. Do NOT order from them because they are known for getting orders wrong here in Germantown. I was giving them one last chance and they failed miserably... I have pictures of how black and inedible the sausages were, but I'm unsure how to upload pictures to my review. Very...

There food is awsome but my wife was home with my 18 yr.old son and 3 yr.old son the pizza delivery gut disrespected my wife sooookoo bad the guy was snapping cause she went to the door to get the food and she told the guy our son is using bathroom can he wait 2 minutes so she can tip him,well he didn't like the idea of waiting not 3 minutes or 30 seconds he started to disrespecting my wife raising his voine extremely loud cussing at her,scairing my 3 yr.old son and to top it off thru the 2 litter bottle of pepsi hitting her in the stomach with it.i was at work.called the shop the manager was great he really was concerned i was very satisfied with how the manager took care ovf it.i could have placed a law suit but i did not do that but found out today wifey is 2 months pregnant so thats scairy hopfully the baby was not harmed.does anyone have any suggestions....Thankyou for all ur time...
