Growing up in the neighborhood I never realized that this place existed I thought the house was boarded up. Philalandmarks is doing a great job of making it clear that Grumblethorpe not only exists, but that the organization wants to be a part of the community. The garden is gorgeous! The house is beautiful! And the volunteers, gardeners, caretakers, even the Philalandmarks admin people really appear to take pride in the property! We got married at Grumblethorpe this September and I couldn't imagine a better...

Renred for my daughters wedding and they stole her deposit money. Added cleaning time as extra rental time. After the rental time clearly states in the website it is $800 for eight hours. And after we cleaned everything Diane the house maanager said we had not cleaned up after. Horrible experience,...

Beautiful gardens, youth program and farmer's market and amazing history and house tours! So fun to explore! Great source for local pies for the holidays and they host big Octoberfest event every year. One of the oldest and most massive trees is the centerpiece...
