Good evening Google family. My very first time visiting this location of Chickie and Pete's. I have patronized the location in Drexel Hill, PA. This location of Roosevelt Blvd is huge!!! I was seated when I arrived, my reservation was 3:15 pm. which I booked on the Open Table app. I took a Lyft there and I took a Lyft home. Didn't wish to deal with the parking there and in my block. I would not have had a parking spot in my block when I arrived back home. I was given a table and then they switched me to another table for one, since I was by myself. Being in a sports bar and watching the Eagles game is a true experience! It is nothing quite like it. You have to be there. They sing the Eagles fight song every time we score, it is truly a classic moment and I enjoyed every moment of it. I cannot wait to go back next week for the next game against the LA Rams. But I will not be coming back to this location. I wanted to go to the South Philly location but its so hard to book, its already booked up for the LA Rams game. Chickie and Pete's makes a killing!!! Shannen was our server and she was so kind, nice and patient. I know that I drove her crazy!!! She was too polite to say so. I gave her a good tip. I ordered vegetable soup, a salad with the salmon and a seafood boil and a lemonade. Everything was good but if the boil did not have the red sauce on it, it would have been ideal!!! The red sauce made it hot!!! and I do not like hot or spicy food. I had ordered mussels and shrimp. So good but it was too hot because of the red sauce. I wanted to send it back but it was too late. Never again will I order that!!! I did not finish eating my order and I did not wish to take it home. Also I was seated outside and when there is food on the table, here comes the horrible flies, it is a nightmare!!! I got so tired of shooing flies away!! I asked Shannen to take my plates because I grew so tired of the flies!!! The rest rooms were clean. I could not understand why they didn't have more restrooms. As big as that place is, they should have had two separate restrooms for women and men. There are four stalls in the women's rest room. The Eagles won and beat the Kansas City Chiefs, thank Goodness!!! They are winless so far, ha ha Patrick Mahomes!!! I had a great Eagles experience and I look forward to going to another location next week to watch the LA Rams game. Good night, workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous!!!! My...
Read moreI was regular customer here but yesterday your guys offended me so much. To add on to Aza’s statement I was never so offended in my life. All he did was try to be kind to the people next to him, bought them a drink nothing more nothing less. It’s custom for him to be kind especially with a language barrier. When I arrived not only was the waitress rude and obnoxious she gave me a attitude just because i said hello. She was very annoyed for the simple fact Aza’s english wasn’t clear enough for her to understand. After a minute if our food coming out she then tried to take it away while I just started eating. She then tried to kick them out until I stepped in. Not to mention this was one of his favorite places to eat and enjoy himself who happened to frequent this establishment many times and spent well over $1000. We weee then told the table is closed is and need to get out. The bartender then made a made a scene, which not only offered us all but was a total embarrassment as other families were able to sit at the tables. Not only did he use foul language and scream at use multiple times but he also called the cops on us never again will I ever step foot into this establishment or recommend anyone to come visit this place. We have done nothing wrong spent over 200.00 and would have tipped them way more...
Read moreNice enough place but way too dark inside, the menu looks large but it's really limited in seafood dishes. The seafood saute was good but way more muscles than clams. The baked oysters were $17.99 for 6 & the oysters were very teensy tiny! The 12 dzn shrimp were good athough a little overcooked. The reason I wouldn't give them five stars is because while ordering our margaritas two of them came up at $5.40 while one a pomegranate margarita was just a different flavor than the others & not a larger size came up to $9 and we were not informed of the price difference! Then we asked for some extra white sauce for our dish and was charged an additional $4 and also not informed of the charge again! Our waitress brought the bruschetta appetizer after bringing all of the other entrees and then she disappeared for very long periods of time, we could not get her to get us more napkins refill our drinks etc and then instead of asking if it would be separate tickets she put everything on one ticket and charged the credit card before asking. Never asked if she could separate it for us...
