Good Lord! Dios mio! These are some good tacos! I got the Authenticos... Steak! They were DEEEE-lish and huge. They were served with a roasted jalapeño, roasted green onions and roasted cactus... lime & cucumber slices... Two salsas: A hot, ting-tangy red and a milder, mellower green. The steak was sliced thin, well-seasoned and juicy. I am so happy West Philly-- (Cobbs Creek/Haddington, specifically)-- has such an authentic spot... right around the corner, practically! Now you do not have to go to South Philly, or even to Baltimore Ave for the reeeeal gooood stuff! Their flan is the richest, thickest, caramel-iest custard I have ever had. Drinks are Aguas Frescas (and not on the menu). I got the Horchata. It's a rice and cinnamon drink. Sweet, flavorful, refreshing. They also have Jamaica (which is made with hibiscus flowers). They serve all kinds of breakfast foods, too... I am torn now. Cuz I want to keep this little spot as my Secret Go-To... But I also want to tell EVERYBODY to go! They are newly opened, only 2 weeks when we ordered from them. Their choriqueso was a generous portion of delicious cheeses and chorizo. Guacamole didn't disappoint; it was fresh and so flavorful. Get the Tacos Autenticos with carnitas, just do it. The carnitas alone was so perfect; the roasted and grilled veggies were incredible. Salsa verde was fresh and the salsa roja was so spicy, we loved it. And for dessert! we tried the tres leches sweet, but too sweet and a big piece, too!

Great place! This is my second time there and I have to say their tomatillo salsa is the best I’ve ever tried! Super solid authentic tasty Mexican food. Accommodating to vegetarian needs, friendly. The best local Mexican I’ve had and much more authentic taco shop vibes than any of the other places you’ll find like Loco Pez etc. don’t go there, go here! So good! Support this business they absolutely deserve every penny.
