This place is amazing! La Nova Pizza & Steak NE is set up primarily for delivery or takeout, it's not a dine-in spot, but they do have a small counter ledge if you want to enjoy a quick bite on the go.
We ordered four menu items, and every single one was outstanding:
Spicy Pepperoni Pizza - Mozzarella, tomato sauce, long hots, Mike's Hot Honey, and pepperoni. The combination of sweet heat and fresh ingredients was excellent. The crust was bubbly, perfectly baked, and had that crisp, flavorful undercarriage that makes you appreciate every bite.
White Pizza with Spinach and Ricotta - Made with mozzarella and extra virgin olive oil, and we added spinach and ricotta cheese. This was a total banger! The crust on this pie was insane, light, crisp, big bubbles, and flavorful. Even my wife was wowed by it.
Cheesesteak with American Cooper Sharp - This sandwich was a monster! Packed with tender ribeye on a seeded roll with onions mixed in, it was juicy, flavorful, and simply incredible. Honestly, one of the best, if not the best, cheesesteaks I've ever had.
R.P. Cutletini Chicken Cutlet Sandwich - House-breaded chicken cutlets, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette. This was my personal favorite. The cutlets were tender yet crispy, the ingredients fresh, and the roll soft and perfectly balanced. Just an excellent sandwich all around.
La Nova Pizza & Steak NE is absolutely a must-try if you're in the area. Whether you're craving top-quality pizza or a killer sandwich, this spot delivers, literally and figuratively. The food quality is exceptional, portions are generous, and the pricing is very reasonable for what you get.

Read moreEdit: Gave it a second shot on a Saturday night. Plain pizza was better than the one I got previously. Cheesesteak with cooper sharp was decent, not great. I’ll bump them up to a three star, but your mileage may vary.
This is one of those places that uses some decent ingredients and is keeping up with some of the trends, and for that reason seems appealing but they are seriously lacking on the ability to execute. Both the pizza and sandwich were botched badly by the people cooking.
I ordered a large vodka pie with sausage that had so little sauce that is was practically evaporated and dry. I couldn’t even tell you how the vodka sauce tastes because there was so little of it. They use the frozen sausage crumbles that a lot of generic places use. The person cooking the pizzas decided to put the fresh basil on the pizza before putting it in the oven resulting in a bunch of burnt, bitter, crumbling dry leaves on top of our pizza.
I also ordered a buffalo chicken steak with cooper sharp. The cheese was half melted and all clumped up in ball in the middle of the sandwich. The “buffalo” is just hot sauce, with no blue cheese or even an option for it. The chicken is chunks of breast, which is nice, but I chewed two gristle pieces before finally throwing it out. That and the giant ball of half melted cheese just made me sick. They also packed it upside down in the box, which means they don’t know which way their own boxes work. As a result, the “lid” opened in the bag and leaked hot sauce and grease inside.
Seriously disappointing for the...
Read moreMan, where do I even start. I placed my order way ahead of time to be picked up at 4:30 and it was ready AT 4:30. Hot and fresh! I had heard about La Nova on Instagram and saw that they're a Halal pizzeria, so, naturally, I had to give them a try. I ordered a Large Margarita, Large Pepperoni, 3 cheesesteaks with fried onions and mayo, and an order of 20 wings (mild & honey bbq). The pizza was super thin, crispy, and had that fresh baked bread essence that we all love. (I recommend dipping the crust in some olive oil- thank me later!) The cooper sharp cheese gave the pizza this creamy texture that you don't really taste from many other pizzerias. The sauce was full of flavor, not too sweet and didn't have that bland tomato-y flavor. The wings, I will say could've used another minute or so in the oil, but they were jumbo so they were packed with tender meat. Preferentially, I don't like that extra chicken skin on wings but that's just me. I'm not hatin'. Others may enjoy that. And they were not too saucy and not too dry- perfect! Now, the cheesesteak. Man. I would put this up there with Angelo's. Yeah, I said it! Packed with tender ribeye that could fill you up with one bite and don't let me forget the cooper sharp and toasted sesame roll. I felt like I was in heaven biting into that. Overall, I'd give La Nova Pizza & Steak NE a 9.8/10 Well deserved, very busy place, I highly recommend you try them out. If you...
