Used to be an incredible place for pizza, chicken steaks, and more, but marred by long delivery times, poor customer service, and inconsistant quality.
When they are at their best, there's no better New York-style pizza in Mayfair/Holmesburg. Rich sauce, delicious cheese, and amazing dough, with the perfect amount of crackle and 'pull' to it. I also loved their paninis, which are uniquely made on their own dough, and rubbed with pizza spices before being cooked in their ovens. Their chicken is always freshly grilled, their salad portions are huge. Good selection of sides, and great sicilian.
Over the past two years though, we've had order issue after issue, late or no delivery (through Grubhub), pizzas sent to us brown and burnt, and instead of being gracious about it, the people we've spoken to were combative at worse, and seemed annoyed at best.

I went to Venice pizza to talk to the owner to find out who was the counter girl working that night and the owner was very dismissive towards me saying his employees would never do that. Apparently the girls name is Katie, I would never give them people my card numbers over the phone again and I suggest you all pay attention to your...
Read moreOrdered a large pepperoni pizza and it was the nastiest most gross pizza I've ever eaten. I'm 48 years old and absolutely love pizza. I'm the kinda guy that says even a bad pizza is better then any other food, until today. The pepperoni didn't smell right it didn't even smell like a pizza should. I got home my wife said it the cheapest pepperoni you can get made frome turkey the cheese was also cheap didn't melt right and was waxy the crust had no flavor almost like water and the sauce tasted like hot ketchup and it was 15 bucks. Never again. The fist bite actually made me feel sick. Save you time and money. For the rest of the food they make I can't say I haven't tried it and judging by how cheap and nasty the pizza taste I'll never know cause I won't buy anything...
