There are a number of places and drive thrus that regularly and seemingly habitually get my order wrong. A couple times a week I'll visit the establishment across the street from Dunkin' and I have to remind them what they forgot or tell them to replace one sandwich with another, or my large will be a medium, etc. I cannot recall ever having to do that at this Dunkin' which means whoever is in charge of hiring and training employees is doing their job right! The other day, I was there, a walk in rather than drive thru, and ordered my breakfast and coffee. By the way, between Dunkin', McDonald's, Wawa and Ellis' coffee they serve at ShopRite, the one with the best cup and lid combination is Dunkin'. The rest of y'all can take notes. When I put the other cups in the cupholder in the baby's stroller, splash city! It makes a mess! Dunkin's lid properly closes, minimizing any mess made by splashing coffee. That is why, even though their black coffee isn't my favorite, I'm more inclined to purchase it over all others. Anyways, there ordering breakfast, and it was the one and only time I was made to wait for my food, which wasn't long, but it revealed to me a couple things. First, others recognize they do well, and frequent the place themselves. Secondly, many people favor it over the higher quality establishment across the street who, even though they have a better menu, has a staff that couldn't hold a candle (whatever that expression means) to the wonderful staff here at...
Read moreMade a mobile order 5 minutes before arriving.. When I got to the window they didn't have my order so she asked to see my phone.. I showed it to her then she came back and wanted to see it again to check the location.. After she confirmed that it was correct she left only to come back and need my phone for a 3rd time! This time the MANAGER wanted to see the date, as if I was trying to scam for a $3 drink !?!? After all that and the better part of 5 minutes she then returns and hands me my beverage well almost I. I guess in the confusion of not being able to find my order and reviewing my phone the 3 times they did ,nobody was worried about making sure they actually knew what I ordered it was only important to make sure I paid.. What I ordered and paid for was a signature iced caramel latte which would've been made with expresso. What I received was a watered down over iced iced coffee with caramel in it.... The line was fway to long extending out the driveway and who knows how far down the street and the Libby was closed for some kind of construction so I could not have circled back nor would I of had I even had the time to... I find this to be very offensive, embarrassing and inconvenient to me and all the people waiting behind me for 5 minutes like I had some huge order being filled.. It was 1 beverage that Iplaced and paid for in advance . . Not a good experience at all, get it...
Read moreWent there this morning to get the $1 med coffee since the Eagles won. Every time I’ve done this I get an iced coffee and I get charged $1.08. This place charged my the full $3 ! Then the lady wanted to argue with me saying you’re not allowed to get iced coffee. Lady this is my 9th coffee I’ve gotten this year with this offer and everytime I get iced. Just go down the street to the other DD on Rising Sun or Dungan or Cottman. They ALL will allow you to ge Iced since that’s what the deal is. The woman also grabbed my phone and took it inside the window when I was trying to pay with my phone (you’re only suppose to scan and not touch it) the coffee was also way too sweet. I asked for just cream no sugar since it’s already flavored and they added sugar. I’m not going back, I’m sure she will try to argue with me again. Bad...
