To be honest, I tried to order a Philly using a voucher from American Airlines at a different place in the airport. Unfortunately, they didn’t take vouchers. The man at that place told me there was a food court nearby and those restaurants would take the voucher. He also recommended that I shouldn’t order a cheesesteak in the food court, but I should walk to a different terminal and order one there. I walked down and noticed it was Geno’s in the food court. I had been to Philly a few years earlier and wanted to go to the main location and try both Geno’s and Pat’s. Instead on that visit, we tried a different place near Rittenhouse Square so I ignored the advice and decided to order from Geno’s in the food court. I should have listened to the advice. Although the food was edible, it wasn’t good. Oh well. At least AA picked up most of the tab.

The worst service ever. So i was hoping at least the sandwich was good. HORRIBLE!! The sandwich could have saved the bad review. Ohhhh mannnnn. I called the head office to complaint only to find out they franchised the name out to this location in the airport. No wonder. Makes sense. The cook/server. I think he’s Indian was super rude to me and other customers. On top of that he did not even want to give me a to go bag when i ordered the sandwich to go. He said they are short. He had about 40+ bags already open empty on the counter. I snatched it from the counter and walked away only to hear him scream nooooo. Smh. Geno’s owner in the airport. Not too late to fix this. You’re in a rock solid location. If you cannot i suggest you sell to a different owner operator. Best of Luck 🤞.

I had high expectations for a restaurant in Philadelphia that specializes in cheesesteaks, but unfortunately it fell far short. The sandwich was dry, lacking flavor, and nowhere near the quality you’d expect from the city that made this dish famous. Honestly, I could have gotten a better cheesesteak at Subway. On top of that, I paid $4.50 for a drink and was surprised to learn there are no refills—something I would expect at a quick-service spot. Between the underwhelming food and the overpriced drinks, this was a letdown from start to finish. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Philly cheesesteak experience.

I couldn’t imagine a cheesecake could be this bad in Philadelphia I don’t understand how they called themselves a world famous cheesecakes I’d get better cheesesteaks in my own hometown in Charleston South Carolina and than I did from a place called famous Ginos the bread is me med at best it’s not it’s not a soft Bun… they don’t chop up the meat just as long strips of steak and then if they’re overcooked they make some harder and more chewy I don’t know this is just awful such a letdown just passing through Todd get a Philly cheesesteak now one of the two big names and it was so bad so let down I couldn’t even finish the whole thing and I even got a little small heifer not even a full cheesesteak I’ve been pissed if I bought the big one for 15 bucks No wonder there wasn’t a line there when I walked up I even heard a guy at a table when I walked by he said to his friend he said Gina’s cheesecake suck now I know why he said that staff was nice though but the food your flagship main item Philly cheesesteak I’ll give it zero stars if I could but it won’t let me but the girl who made it was very nice but I couldn’t even eat the whole thing it was so bad!! Do you not waste your time stopping at this Gina’s cheesecake and think that you’re gonna get a taste of Philly you’re not move on go...

If Geno was aware of the process here in the airport I can’t imagine he would be happy. The employees are rude and show no interest in actually serving you. Waited at register for over 5 minute to order. Finally placed my order and waited well over 20 mins and watched them throw cold meat on the bun and sit for a few minutes before wrapping it and putting it on the counter. They then made 4 additional cheesesteaks before dropping the fries in. Then when the fries were done the employee made each fry order at her leisure and then managed to get cheese all over everyone’s bags. Then one of the other employees comes over to give out the food after she was done texting on her phone and drinking her drink. This place needs to get all new staff with an attitude that they want to work. This is an airport where people are in a rush and stressed… if I had been either of those I would lost my mind. Geno needs to...

Food: The steak is soggy and tough like it’s been sitting too long in a steam warmer. The bread is stale so instead of light and toasted, it’s also chewy. You can’t taste the cheese if you get provolone (there’s maybe 1 slice at the back of the sandwich). Can’t screw up toppings that sit in a warmer. So that’s where they at least earned 1 star.

Service: friendly cashier. It’s a shame the food is so low quality. Which didn’t look like it was their fault. Whoever owns this place does not know how to cook a cheesesteak and is choosing low quality ingredients to cut cost. The sliced steak being a good example. My guess is to save time they don’t cook it from fresh so it sits in a warmer until they close, pulling it out as needed. They were doing their best and I wouldn’t fault them for management and ownership decision making.

Atmosphere: it’s...
