Really dissapointed. In the past, we've ordered from you many times and have promoted you to be the place for Thai food in Philly if not in the Northeast. We've taken our family there to dine and have have promoted you to all of our friends...which makes our most recent experience even more dissapointing. We're all experiencing tough times. Our hard earned money is even harder to earn these days. So considering the fact that you've chosen to serve us, then we've considered to return the favor. This is a relationship. So for tonight, we ordered 2 appetizers and an entree: chicken skewers, papaya salad, and drunken noodles with squid and shrimp. Total $33.32. Chicken skewers: we got 4 skewers with peanut sauce fine. Papaya salad: its a vegetable salad, fine. Noodles: the rice noodles were broken which hinted that they were either extremely overcooked or overdue. The shrimp and squid was pasty and reeked which hinted tha they were a day close to being spoiled. Honestly, if you can't serve fresh food, then let us know, we'll glady support you by ordering something else from the menu. You don't charge "take out" prices so don't feed us "take out" food because if that's what you've decided to offer, then we have better options. This is $33 dollars for 2 people..for something we could've easily. gotten for $15. You've decided to cater to a specific clientele and with that comes some level of expectation...if you've decided it is not your intention anymore, then that fine. Then we'll have to reconsider our relationship. Very disappointing.

House of Thai Cuisine is amazing and the owner is so kind!!!! I was visiting from NYC with a coworker for work, and after an amazing meal (also very very affordably priced for the quality compared to some places New York City), I left my wallet at our table and drove back to NYC. I had spoken with Boo, the owner, on the phone and he told me he could mail back my wallet. I was already so thankful and relieved, but I got another call less than 10 minutes later from Boo telling me he spoke with his local mailman of 15 years, and he offered to mail my wallet free of charge! I was going through a high anxiety day already, but the help of Boo and his mailman really restored my faith in humanity hahah. I received my wallet today in the mail all in one piece! Not only does this restaurant have amazing food, but they also have the kindest hospitality that deserve all the love! Thank you so much to Boo for your kindness and patience. I’ll never forget this and will always come for Thai food at House of Thai...

While in the area, we happened to stumble upon this place. We dined in on a Wednesday night. Though we were the only ones in the restaurant, there was a revolving door of people coming in to pick up their orders. That's a good sign to know that their food is good. We ordered a variety of fried rice dishes.. I've never seen so many options for fried rice as they do at House of Thai Cuisine. Each dish had its own distinct flavor, and they were absolutely delicious! I had some leftovers packed and was craving to devour it the next day. Although the staff wasn't the friendliest, they were respectful and tended to our needs. I'm not sure if it was an off day for them, but nonetheless, the food makes up for it all. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be sure to eat here again....

*Takeout review* Food: 5/5 Parking: Street Meter Parking House of Thai was recommended to me by couple of my colleagues, some of which would drive 30 minutes just for their food. After ordering couple popular items, I can see why. At the time of my arrival, there was some minor construction ongoing. But that didn't impact my experience, since we ordered for takeout. What was ordered: Spring Rolls (Good) Thai Fried Rice - with Chicken (Delicious) Drunken Noodle (Absolutely delicious) - I can see why it is so popular. I would not hesitate to order this dish every single time. It is packed with flavor, and the food is thoroughly cooked, tasted very fresh. If you are in the area, highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Great little hidden gem. I came to visit family and wanted to eat something different from the typical Philly food. We went for a girls dinner before a movie, it was snowing so the place was pretty empty. The place is small but nice. The food the great as were the prices. You must try the Thai iced tea and sweet sticky rice. Four of us ate for $70 including a generous tip, for a place with cloth napkins, that's almost unheard of. I will definitely eat here again when I'm back in town.
