Huddle House — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Poor excuse for a restaurant, I have give this place many chances.and they got worse every time.. rude,cussing employees, But I'm done with it after the last time we went in to eat.. we ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and every one else in my party of 5 ordered same thing. It took the waitress almost 15 minutes jest to come to our table she was too busy texting on her phone. After she took our order we got our drinks all teas, which never got refilled. Then after little over 30 minutes half of our orders came to the table,no one's eggs where cook right and no one got their chicken fried steaks.. she's said that they where waiting on the gravy to cook... after we eat what they brought and another 30 minutes we jest got up to pay out and leave.. I told her I was not paying full price for not getting half our meals she charged me anyhow , long story short after I showed my butt she got the manager on the phone and told me that she was sorry and what we got was no charge and she said she deleted the charges to my card... get my statement in the mail they had changed my card full price plus added 20% tip to it.. hope they enjoy it.. They told us when we walked in that it may take 30 minutes to 45 minutes to get our food. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food.. when we got it.. half of the food was cold.. :( Not kool and my eggs weren't cooked the way I asked.. if we are going to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes. I expect the food to be TOP NOTCH if you had 1 hour and 20 minutes to prepare and make it. The place was packed! Packed! Good for them but maybe they need an upgrade? Or more workers? Something. The service was very good other then my order being wrong a little. The lady gave us. Discount. Thank you. Other then that.. the toilet was broken.. soo that many people and no bathroom? Not good. The atmosphere was loud, VERY hot, uncomfortable.. table was not the cleanest. By the time we got our food the drinks were melted down and hot.. I rate it a 3 just because the service was very very good. Thank you for trying your best workers.. not your fault you don't have a larger work place and better help. Also.. this is a breakfast place and no? Chocolate chip pancakes? I came just for that! Yeeah.. I'll come back next year and see...

Horrible experience! Worst service we have had in forever. First, my husband orders a featured menu item (which included mushrooms and Swiss cheese) but received the item without mushrooms and without Swiss cheese. I ordered crispy hash browns and they were literally cold. Not just underdone, but uncooked. Never, not once did we get a drink refill. Instead she sat in a booth across the restaurant chit chatting with her coworkers. We were one of 2 occupied tables of customers, so it definitely wasn't that she was too busy. The restaurant also wasn't clean and there was a carton of uncooked eggs just sitting on the counter (not refrigerated - a total health hazard). Years ago I waited tables and the managers would have went crazy if they walked in and our store looked like that and they saw our employees being rude and lazy. Unacceptable. To top off the whole experience, once we were ready to leave, we had to stand there for several minutes before paying because our waitress was in the middle of her chit chat time. We...
