Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I don’t even know why we still have this place here. I used to frequent this location, but after tonight I will never be back. I’ve worked in restaurants before, and it usually takes a lot for me to ask for a refund but since this wasn’t the first time this has happened, I’m done. For one, the workers act like it’s just a big playground up there, not to mention I don’t think half of them can read or write. The last 2 times I’ve been they’ve be short on my order both times. I spend anywhere from $40 to $60 to feed my family from here, and it’s never right. Tonight took the cake when I got asked to pull around to wait on 18 wings. Sat there 30 mins just to go back inside to see what’s going on, for them to laugh and tell me, they gave my order to someone else, then told me I could wait longer for my food. I asked for a refund and left. No apologies or anything, they actually acted like I did something wrong because I didn’t want to wait an hour for my order. I actually attempted to come in and order 2 days in a row.. Day 1) Entered the restaurant and stood at the front counter for literally 6 minutes without a single person saying one word to me or even acknowledging that I was there... So I walked out as I only have 30min for a lunch break. Day 2) Entered the restaurant and actually got to order. I ordered one sandwich. I payed and moved to the side... 15 minutes later I'm asking the lady expediting orders...how long does it take to make one sandwich and how much longer is it going to be...so she went and asked someone how to make it and made it herself for me (and that was EXTREMELY APPRECIATED) but by the time got my food I had to run straight back to work and clock in and save the food for later.... it was cold and not great) .... The food is good but every time I go to this place they always forget something on my order. And it takes literally an hour or two or longer to wait in line. But the food is very good. The service isn't really the greatest and it can be improved. But the food is really good and is warm. I appreciate that. I love Popeyes. Me being from Louisiana originally I definitely do. I love the red beans and rice and spicy chicken nuggets and the shrimp bites. But definitely I feel like some people should work on being nicer to all of the customers. And just maybe working a little bit faster to where people don't have to wait at least 2 hours and I did wait in line and then when I got my order it wasn't even right and we couldn't either inside because covid-19.
